I will never go back to this ridiculous place. Completely disrespectful staff, dirty plates and disgusting food. Tiny wrapped dates were hard and undercooked. Lamb was served cold, overcooked, chewy and tasteless. Pork Schnitzel was as tasteless as a frozen microwave dish. The cream carb mystery substance was gummy and burned and the vegetables on both plates were hard and unpalatable. We came for a birthday dinner and sat there for an hour being completely ignored after placing an order for drinks an appetizer and 2 entrees, and were never offered dessert for the birthday boy. This place goes under the top 10 worst places to eat or drink in the Wasilla area. I could go on about the terrible service that was reflected in their food that made us feel unwelcome. One star for location.

An excellent restaurant that holds up to its promise of elevated dining. The tenderloin paired with a glass of 2021 Alexander Valley Cab Franc was the best steak I have ever had. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is understated but cozy. My schnitzel took me back years to some wonderful memories. I highly recommend trying their wine flights, they are exceptionally well curated and pair well with the menu. My wife and I will absolutely be going back.

Alaska The Grape Tap is A locally owned and operated gem! I reserved a table for 5 to celebrate three birthdays, and we were seated in the private, underground wine cellar. The food was exceptional, and the service exceeded 5 stars. The owner even took the time to personally introduce herself, adding a special touch to the experience. If you're traveling in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. The ambiance is both quaint and charming.

The duck was cooked to perfection as was that glaze.Seafood pasta in a pesto, cheese sauce.Panko rusted halibut steaks on rice.Desert selection was a deconstructed lemon curd chees cake. I have been waiting years to visit this wonderful gem of a restaurant, but was always passing through with no time in the schedule. I'm so glad that I finally made it happen! The first thing that stood out was the service - a wonderfully professional and smiling hostess checked our reservation and ensured our table was ready, and we were led to our table by none other than the owner herself who seated us and shared a few ancedotes while we got comfortable. The waitstaff was on point, and we really enjoyed the excellent wine menu to choose from. We enjoyed a delicious calamari appetizer that was original and quite tasty, and then we were off and running with the entrees. We were a group of four, and everyone enjoyed their dinner choices immensely! I will speak specifically about the lamb, because it was without a doubt - the best lamb I have had. Very flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a wonderfully subtle sauce that complemented the dish seamlessly! No desserts for us, just great conversation and a lovely bottle of Zinfandel. Highly recommend, and will return!

Had the duck and the surf and turf as well as two appetizers the Not so cheap Dates and Scallops. All were fantastic added in was a live musician made it a great date location. The desert was fantastic the espresso creme brulee was to die for and the peanut butter mudslide was so enormous my wife took half home.

Ideal for higher end business dinners, anniversary dinners, higher class date nights, treat yourself dinner, etc. Food is absolutely delicious. Service is superb. They have a nice drink selection if you choose to partake.They have a private room, but it requires a minimum purchase. Ask when you call to make a reservation.
Pretty good food, but price is a bit high and vegetarian options are slim.
Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian entree option; very heavy... Not a vegan option. The vegetarian option was ok, but if you are a vegetarian I'd suggest you spend less and have a better meal elsewhere.The service was excellent, the wine sampler was good and the atmosphere pleasant and fancy.
