Service was excellent. Food was good, but not what you'd expect for the price. Plan to break the bank.

Maybe change the name to the vine tap? Just a suggestion since the latest development of the word grape

We went to The Grape Tap for our 44th Wedding Anniversary and we had a great meal in a great atmosphere. We are far from home but this made us feel very connected to this area. We had the roasted duck and the Tenderloin. As I told Lisa, our waitress, it is as if the person who put the Tenderloin dish together had followed me through life to create my favorite dish. We will visit again.

Seafood Lasagna at The Grape Tap
There’s a quiet elegance to this dish — warm, familiar, and unexpectedly refined. It feels like coming home, only better dressed. The kind of meal that doesn’t just feed you, it settles you

Open in the morning/mid-day! Their “Gathering House” menu was simple and satisfying. A delightfully relaxing space…we enjoyed our coffee and a light meal.

We had an amazing experience at The Grape Tap in Wasilla last Friday while celebrating a friend’s birthday! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with a round of appetizers that were absolutely delicious—each one hit the mark. Most of us ordered the specials for dinner, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.
A huge shoutout to Lisa and Kristen for their outstanding service—attentive, knowledgeable, and so friendly. Their wine pairings were spot on and really elevated the whole dining experience. If you’re looking for a perfect night out with great food, excellent service, and a cozy vibe, The Grape Tap is a must!

A year ago this would have been a 5 star review. Sadly the last couple of visits to the restaurant have been downhill. It was our go to for celebrations that warranted a high end meal however lately it has not lived up to the price you pay. The most recent visit was the most disappointing. A guest in our party was knowingly served frozen beer, food was overcooked and one meal was downright disgusting. Fish that was I presume either old or mishandled/improperly stored. At $10 a beer and an average of $47 and entree you expect great food and service. We were greeted with mediocre food and sad excuses from the owner. We will be giving this place a break for a while in hopes they can rebound back to the great food and service they once had, or prices drop to meet the quality of food received.

It was fine, I’m glad I got to go but I won’t be back. If I knew that was going to be my experience then I probably would have opted for susitna brewing or stay home.

We called in advance as we wanted to have dinner to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. From the minute we arrived, we had 5 star service! From a thoughtful table set-up to the attentiveness of our wonderful server KT, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The Moroccan scallops were divine, as were our entrées. The bottle of wine we selected complimented our dinner perfectly. We wrapped our evening with the deconstructed lemon cheesecake which was a perfect ending. Thank you for another marvelous evening!!!

If I could I would give it zero. The food was so bad also not enough food on the plate. Way over priced. Our server only looked/ checked on us twice got a 28 dallor tip for three min.s or less of interaction.. she was not the hosts and not the one to being us our food I hope she split the tips.
I will never go back to this ridiculous place. Completely disrespectful staff, dirty plates and disgusting food. Tiny wrapped dates were hard and undercooked. Lamb was served cold, overcooked, chewy and tasteless. Pork Schnitzel was as tasteless as a frozen microwave dish. The cream carb mystery substance was gummy and burned and the vegetables on both plates were hard and unpalatable. We came for a birthday dinner and sat there for an hour being completely ignored after placing an order for drinks an appetizer and 2 entrees, and were never offered dessert for the birthday boy. This place goes under the top 10 worst places to eat or drink in the Wasilla area. I could go on about the terrible service that was reflected in their food that made us feel unwelcome. One star for location.

An excellent restaurant that holds up to its promise of elevated dining. The tenderloin paired with a glass of 2021 Alexander Valley Cab Franc was the best steak I have ever had. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is understated but cozy. My schnitzel took me back years to some wonderful memories. I highly recommend trying their wine flights, they are exceptionally well curated and pair well with the menu. My wife and I will absolutely be going back.
