Tokyo Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Ordered two beef udon soups to go. Got there to pick it up and they had given it to someone else. They said they would remake it. Took over an hour for them to remake them despite no one else being in the restaurant. Had to go up every 20 minutes and ask about them. They claimed they had over 10 door dash orders before our remake order. Will not be going to this establishment again.

Used to be better but it’s under new management. Not as good as it used to be but I would still go if I’m craving sushi.

This place is definitely amazing but what made it stood apart from any other restaurant was the waitress sherry she was absolutely incredible very attentive & kind. I’d highly recommend the restaurant request sherry as your waitress!

With a warm and relaxing atmosphere becoming of Wasilla, enjoy hearty lunch specials with Japanese and Chinese options. There’s something for the whole family and even picky kids and vegetarians. Instagram worthy sushi rolls and 3-tiers of boats option to impress your dinner party. We recommend the Mongolian beer and miso soup. Bathrooms are really clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Solid 5-stars

Best sushi in the valley, always super fresh and beautiful presentation. I get the sashimi platter, and it never disappoints. The Hawaii roll, Suoercrunch roll, and Fire roll are must--tries. Very relaxed atmosphere, and server Irene is amazing.

I’ve been to many sushi places across Alaska and the lower 48 and this place is a top favorite of mine. Everyone is extremely welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere is very comfortable, you can see them making your meal, it’s quiet and the music is perfect for the setting. I’ve had the two same hostesses for the countless times I’ve eaten here and both are sweet and have excellent customer service. The people cooking are nice and put great effort and attention to detail into all of the food and it all comes out in a timely manner. Out of every single sushi place I’ve been to this is the most serene setting with the freshest fish. Ever dish I’ve had from here has been 10/10. Drink selection is top tier. Very clean. I could go on and on-I love this place!

We made a reservation for 6-8 people tonight, and walked in and every table including the one we made the reservation for was taken. We called to ask to talk to the person who answered our reservation call and were hung up on. When we wanted to talk to someone in charge, we were told that they did not have a lead at all. We used to come pretty regularly, but this was our last time to try to eat there tonight. Our kids are screaming in the car because of that. Thank you for a ruined night.

My biggest complaint is they were dishonest on the bill and it wasn't itemized and had no details of my charge. Just pay us this amount.

I dont do business like that and will no longer support this restaurant financially or vocally!

Had lunch today and the service was horrible. The waitress messed our order up completely. Talked to the supervisor she wouldn't even give us the opportunity to talk just said I'll charge you the lunch menu. I ate what they brought out because they gave us no other choice. Bill came and no modifications were made. Had to send check back twice just to get it to come close to the price of food that we originally ordered. Still over charged us. Now on our way to urgent care cause my daughter who's birthday it is. Has bad diarrhea and complaining of severe stomach cramps. 10 out of 10 do not recommended. Plus the walls are filthy. I will be contacting a heath inspector. Ps i hope they all have the day they deserve.

I came during the slow time after lunch (around 2:15) and got served tasty egg ddop soup & my hot and crunchy Super Crunch roll very quickly. Staff is pleasant, and there's other stuff on the menu I want to try, like their new Crypto Roll. I'll be back! I can see myself craving the Super Crunch and coming just for that :)

Well, I’m not sure if this is new management? But, we’ve been loyal customers for years! Something has changed? The last two visits, dinner, were not good! The Mongolian Beef is not the same! It’s Mongolian fish sauce. The dropped egg soup seems to be missing the egg? It’s hard to mess up sweet and sour chicken. But again, it would taste better than lukewarm! We are finishing a lunch at the moment. Mongolian fish sauce again and the meal, besides the rice, is literally barely lukewarm! Last time for us!

I can only account for the sushi. It was good I’ve gone several times. Get the egg drop soup

Top notch Sushi and Chinese food in a rustic, Alaska lodge vibe inside. Hands down, my favorite Sushi place in Alaska. I come from Anchorage to eat here (about an hour drive). The service is impeccable, friendly, and attentive. The food is fantastic! Warm and inviting atmosphere and staff. Thank you, for a wonderful experience, every time I come here.
