Windbreak Hotel, Cafe & Lounge

I recently read a disturbing review regarding a bartender at Trouhouse, Aleina. I was present during the incident reviewed. The man was volatile and no matter what took place could not be pleased. The customers sitting around him complained several times about his behavior. Aleina is a wonderful bartender and treats everyone with respect and dignity. She is very sweet and always has a positive attitude. Her personality and laugh is infectious. She did not deserve this review and I am sorry that sometimes people have bad days and seem to take their frustrations out on those undeserving.

Got the reindeer dog. It was DELICIOUS. The bartenders were extremely friendly. Will 100% return.

Changes over the years make it hard to give a 4 star review. Quality used to be better but that was back when bread wasn't $5 a loaf, so I can understand why the sandwiches are smaller than they used to be. Some of the wait staff can be not so nice BUT I'm sure it is hard to work with all the mean customers also.

Loved it, clean, neat, orderly, great staff, very good pricing, AC big time, delicious food, great location,,,,,buuuut spent an hour trying to get ANYTHING to appear on the TV. NOTHING would load 😬🤔😑

I realize their parking lot is usually full, but their food quality and portions have definitely taken a nose dive!!

I won't ever be returning. This place has gone down hill over the last ten years. Service was slow. Food was cold. This is the third time in a row the whole meal was not worth the high prices! Better off going to another restaurant for sure!

My service was fare,at best! I don't understand why restaurants in Wasilla don't serve Prime Rib except on Friday from 5:00 PM! I admit they do have great Prime Rib!

My kids love eating here.

Wind real has been around the valley forever is is always our tried and true. Food is good and staff is usually attentive and quick to get food from kitchen to table

rude waitress. i ordered a steak medium rare and told her 3 times and she asked “ so pink? “ and i said yes, medium rare. came back the third time and was not medium rare. she had a lot of attitude.
