Popped in for a hot chocolate on a rainy day. A lovely view, wonderful owner. Everything you could except for a standard coffee shop.

The service here was great, the staff were so friendly! The food was good (I got a panini). 3/5 stars only because there were a bunch of ravens swarming the outside deck looking for scraps and one of them flew inside of the restaurant, which personally freaked me out. Probably fine if you're a fan of birds.

Stunning water views, hot and tasty tacos and chowder and a warm, friendly ambiance and host. The place is clean and has coffee, lunch sandwiches and baked goods. The host was kind enough to modify meals to be vegetarian and even allowed us to eat other meals bought from a neighbouring cafe inside the cafe.

They had coloring pages for kids and dog biscuits.

Highly recommend for the views, food and ambiance!

Vegetarian options: Host is kind enough to modify meals to be vegetarian

Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly with calming views of the water and coloring pages

Not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but this place has a really limited counter service menu; two of them being halibut and chips & cod & chips. They had neither.
I get that restaurants can run out of food, but to be out of these items in this location????? To make it worse, the girl behind the counter didn’t offer anything else or seem to care.

Best chowder we’ve ever had and the smoked pork sliders were so delicious. The view and service were incredible. Don’t skip this place while in town.

This is a comfortable place to eat and the view of Whittier harbor is breathtaking, but without these the food would have me coming back. My wife and I had the Panini and the bread was done perfect and the rest of the sandwich was balanced perfectly. Top notch food in a tourist place is not common. Thanks.

Everything about my experience was amazing. From the food to the atmosphere which was no doubt a 10/10. My girlfriend and I patiently waited for the Applewood smoked pork to be ready, over an hour. Watched other customers order the paninis, which looked amazing don't get me wrong, but I was set on the smoked pork. I could smell the pork smoking and I knew just by the smell it would be worth the wait. And it was SO worth the wait. Sat on there beautiful porch on a beautiful day with some provided lemon water. They made sure my dog was taken care of with water as well (on there porch). I wish I remembered both of there names (I suck). I know the cook is from Maryland originally and that dude knows how to smoke some meat! Seriously, mouth watering good. I will absolutely pay for the whittier tunnel, and go out of my way just to try them again sometime!
