Camping in nearby Eufaula and ventured into Abbeville fos some ancestry quests in some cemeteries. Checked TA and sounded like we needed to fuel up here. Small buffet set up with just perfect ingredients. I had fried chicken, a vegetable medley and greens. And it came with fried cornbread which was amazing and reminded me of my childhood. My SO has the same except mashed potatoes and fried okra which was made to order. Real fresh not frozen okra which was the best we’ve ever had. The cornbread was thin and super crispy so I let it sit in my greens and then it was perfection. Peach cobbler for dessert, which was crazy good and the best sweet tea ever. Actually the service was the best ever. The ladies at the buffet and our server were so nice and attentive. It was our breakfast/lunch so borderline hangry, no pix. Don’t miss this jewel!

Never been there before, but made to feel like I was family. Everyone that works there is super nice and extremely attentive. You will definitely not leave there hungry either. It's a little cramped, but clean. If you leave there without their peach cobbler then you need your head examined!

Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Abbeville! Food was delicious , service was immaculate and atmosphere gives “those were the days” homey vibes. I had the fried chicken, greens, mac and cobbler- all were so good! I live 20 mins away but will be coming back to try the food selections I missed out on!

Stopped at Ruby's for some Southern Food today for lunch. Everything was delicious! I think the fried pork chop was the best I've ever eaten. All the wait & serve staff were super nice. The biggest treat was, we got to meet Ruby. What a gracious & nice lady. We will go back to try the chicken & dumplings. Thanks for a GREAT meal

Ruby's is awesome! We drove up to Abbeville to eat at this little gem of a place. The ladies were sooooo sweet ❤️. The food was delicious (I got the fried pork chop, potato salad, black eyed peas and cornbread. The cornbread was the best I've had at a restaurant, the potato salad was great and tasted like mine 😊, the pork chop was perfect as were the peas. Oh yes, dessert was peach cobbler ❤️). The atmosphere reminded me of the old Garland house in Dothan in that it is in an old house. Super quaint, cute and super clean! We will definitely go back. One of the couples eating was from Florida and had driven by and stopped in. Very pleased. Lots of folks stopped in so very popular and I can see why! All freshly cooked!
