If it was just about the food thats an easy perfect 5! But, the sweetness of the ladies here making you feel like you're family exceeds all expectations! Love this place and anytime I'm within 50 miles I'm coming again every time!
Camping in nearby Eufaula and ventured into Abbeville fos some ancestry quests in some cemeteries. Checked TA and sounded like we needed to fuel up here. Small buffet set up with just perfect ingredients. I had fried chicken, a vegetable medley and greens. And it came with fried cornbread which was amazing and reminded me of my childhood. My SO has the same except mashed potatoes and fried okra which was made to order. Real fresh not frozen okra which was the best we’ve ever...
The best homecooking. Ruby knows how to cook. Fried Chicken crunchy and hot. Collards and cabbage, mac and cheese, potato salad , banana pudding& peach cobbler. All are amazing. They sold out of Brunswick stew so we will be back. You must stop in Abbeville and eat at Ruby's!!! Everyone was so nice and friendly!!
