Discovered this sweet little restaurant while camping at Hardridge Creek Campground. The food was great, and the ladies who run/own it are wonderful. We would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a burger or pulled pork (what we ordered). While there is no indoor seating, there are picnic tables outside. We shared a table with a couple we had just met there and had a very pleasant conversation with them.
If more small businesses were like The Silo, we would all be happier! The folks there are super-friendly and make one feel welcome and wanted. The food is excellent and head and shoulders above any other chain restaurant. Strongly recommend paying them a visit; you won’t be sorry.
They're 5 stars for a reason, Just go & eat there! You absolutely won't regret it. Someone said their chili dog resembles a Michigan (or midwest) coney & they're not wrong. I haven't had a burger yet but others can review that. Their desserts are tasty too. And they're just the friendliest folks. Run, don't walk!
