While staying at Lay Lake, we decided to visit Novi Vineyards. It was a lovely 25 minute drive to a beautiful place! Lee and Lisa have created a charming wine venue where they cheerfully educate their guests on grapes and winemaking while pouring samples of their four wines as guests overlook the vineyard. It’s picturesque! Much to our surprise, we found all four wines delicious! Lee and Lisa made the visit so interesting and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit to Novi Vineyards!
An Alabama hidden gem with excellent genuine French hybrid varietals grown on site, and the owners - Lee and Lisa Moffert - are salt-of-the-earth people. Need a peaceful winery getaway for a few hours? Look no further.
