food in the glass was old , dried up and hard as brick . Was told that’s what you get everything premade . Stopped making after 2 pm told after fact . Asked if wanted warmed . Sandwich took long time to “heat up “ was so hard could literally not get a bite off it . Also the sandwich inside including the chicken / bacon was tasteless , no flavor . Was told water cups on side , obtained water there’s no ice , so water was warm and cup smelled of bleach . Will never go back . Could not eat the sandwich

We stopped here for a quick lunch it wasn't our plan but we were pleasantly suprised! I had a cup of tomato basil soup and spinach and feta quiche, I could've gotten just the quiche as the portion was generous! Both items were tasty and the outdoor eating area was pleasant. We decided to buy a baguette, a macaron, and a lemon bar to take along with us since lunch was so enjoyable. The pistachio macaron was good and had a nice pistachio flavor. The lemon bar was huge and fantastic if you like lemon don't miss this treat! The baguette was delicious as well! We will definitely return on our next visit to Blacksburg!

No one knew what food they had when ordering, it took 7 minutes to order because staff kept having to run back to the kitchen. Paid $15 for a chicken bacon baguette that literally came right out of the fridge. Everything was hard and ice cold. Will probably never come back here. Save your $

Our Daily Bread made a BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS cake for our summer wedding. We worked with Jen throughout the process. Her expertise and creativity cannot be understated! At out initial tasting we tried four or five separate small cakes each with different tasting combinations. Jen walked us through what was possible with each, what pairs well together, and every detail we didn't know to think about. Plus, she had a binder full of examples and design ideas for inspiration! Amazing Mother's Day Brunch and Birthday cake! I won't have to cook for two days. Jen was wonderful about a hiccup in our order! we don't eat out much but ODB is one of our favorites!

I lost track of the date and needed a cake on short order. Our Daily Bread Bakery not only came through for me, they outdid themselves on previous orders. They make a delicious lemon blueberry pound cake with cream cheese frosting. This year the frosting sparkled and there were these lovely edible flowers. My mother was so thrilled. She wasn't expecting anything for her 75th birthday due to the pandemic and you helped make it extra special. Thank you so much!!

ODBB made our wedding cake and cookies! Jen was easy and fun to work with. She made our dream cake in terms of looks and the multiple layers of flavors. It was truly spectacular!

ODB made our beautiful wedding cake! Each tier was a different flavor because we just couldn’t choose which we liked best. The service was amazing and they even said that for our anniversary cake, rather than eat a year old cake, the would make us a new one - on the house! Amazing design, incredible customer service and cake so good we took it on our honeymoon! Loved ODB!

Ordered cherry pie ($18) for a birthday dinner. When I picked up the pie, I could see a mess of cherries looking through the plastic top so I decided to open the box right there. There was cherry filling spilling out of the “pie” onto the box, and the pie itself was a sticky mess of filling. There was a “cap” of top crust about an inch short of the edge of the pie all the way around. I pointed out the mess to the front manager who was surprised and apologized and took the pie into the back. After considerable delay, she returned saying cherry pies are supposed to look like that, but they did cut the plate off and cleaned it up, and they would be glad to write Happy Birthday on it. Such arrogance to think I am that stupid. I miss the days of Karen.
