This was my first and last time to get food from this restaurant. I spent nearly $50 for terrible uneatable food. The bbq was very very dry, the Mac and cheese was very old , the banana pudding was spoiled, soggy fries. Really nothing was good. I threw it out. I got one plate for a neighbor and she said she was unable to eat it because hers was so bad also. BBQ nachos 🤮

We were passing through Arab, saw Hog Leg BBQ and decided to try it. Excellent decision!! We ordered to go, but Husband said the place looked clean and welcoming. Food was AMAZING and reasonably priced. We shared a smash burger—delicious!—a pulled pork sandwich—so juicy and flavorful!—and we tried both the fries and tater wedges. Both solid choices. Do yourself a favor and visit Hog Leg BBQ. It’s well worth the drive! I gotta go eat my banana pudding now. 😉

We got the brisket plate and the ribs. The meat was so dry we couldn't eat it but the collards and beans were good. I was so disappointed

Me and my wife tried it out after hearing good things, I have to say I was very disappointed. You are asked to tip before you even know how the service or good will be, we always tip good but by the end I would have left nothing. I witnessed staff be very snarky to at least 3 other customers, an elderly lady seemed confused about how to order and staff didn’t seem willing to help or was annoyed by helping. Safe to say I was highly disappointed, food tasted ok but not something I will crave to eat again

My husband absolutely loves Hog's Leg. We went through their drive through. The service is sporadically good/bad, first young lady had a flat affect, no excitement pleasantries, etc. second young lady more courteous after a 10 minute wait at the window she politely asked us to pull around. The food and value are excellent. We got a pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork tacos. They are very good!
Was on Backroad bus trip May 1,2025. There were 15 of us. Food was very flavorful, lot of it!! I had large nachos and they were delicious! All foods I saw looked wonderful & everyone loved their dishes. Will be back with husband soon.

the food was below average. the ribs had an extremely hard bark and parts of it were the texture of jerky, while the inside was extremely soft, borderline mushy . the mac and cheese was right out of the box with no additional seasonings and the fries were way too salty. the pulled pork was actually decent texture-wise but lacked seasoning. the chicken also lacked seasoning but was okay in some places, dry in others. I think the worst thing of all was the service. the woman who took our order was extremely rude, she rolled her eyes at a question my husband asked, and was rushing us to order. im not even one who wants a server to be super duper nice to the point it is fake, but she was just so mean, especially towards my husband. I have worked in the industry as well, even when things are busy and hard, it is not hard to treat a customer like a human instead of a burden. there was also a film on my soda which may indicate that the cup or soda nozzle was not properly cleaned. the benches with fabric on them were also so so dirty. very disappointing.

The barbeque is ok, I had the touchdown. The sausage is overcooked, no bite to it. The pulled pork is ok, not good or bad. The chicken is also ok, definitely could be better seasoned. The ribs have an extremely hard bark, almost leathery, once you get past the bark it's decent. The banana pudding tastes prepackaged.
The service was very rude, almost treating me as if I should leave for asking questions.
The back seats we sat near used to be car seats I think, they are very dirty looking and covered in stains.
The soda machine is very dirty and the drinks have a film on top from it.
The tea tasted a few hours old, but it was fine.
