“We have a wheel chair bound member of our party. The staff knew exactly what her needs were without asking. Salad was chopped so for a change she didn't have to sit there like a child while someone at the table cut her salad. Bathroom was totally accessible. Food was delicious. Wonderful visit.”

“My husband and I often eat at the Metro Diner Trussville, AL location, because the food is excellent, and the staff is amazing. So, when he said he was going to order our Thanksgiving dinner from them, I was not surprised. And, y'all, it was EXCELLENT! A lot of food for a reasonable price, and everything tasted delicious. Crumble is super popular right now and I will tell you what the addition of this Dubai chocolate brownie. I am a lifetime customer. It literally tastes exactly like a Dubai chocolate bar. And most other locations really Don’t give a lot of filling, which is the part that I like the post in this location did everything perfectly and the customer service was phenomenal. We are lucky to have a crumble out here in Trussville thanks to you guys and the amazing team that works here!”

“If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further! I had the taco trio- steak, chicken and carnitas, my husband got the tamales, soup and street corn, I had the hibiscus water, my husband had the mango…then for dessert we had the ice cream popsicles; he had pistachio and I had strawberries n cream and I tried a little bit of everything on the salsa bar and it was all delicious. All I can say is WOW. It is better than we imagined. I hardly ever leave reviews, but Juanita definitely deserved a shoutout! Everyone was so kind. When we pass back through Leeds, Alabama next time, we will definitely be back.”

“This place came up on my TikTok fyp, and once I showed it to my 9 year old daughter and saw her reaction, I knew we had to come. She is a HUGE wrestling fan. And let me tell you, the 1.5 hr drive was so worth it! First of all, the food is 10/10. It is so fresh and authentic. And the vibe, and experience is unmatched. The owner had already left when we arrived, but when one of his employees called to tell him that a huge wrestling fan was in the building, he came back to surprise her. He literally made her whole Thanksgiving break. They talked wrestling, made pics/videos, and he even gave her a luchador mask. She came dressed head to toe in WWE attire, including a championship belt. There was a blow up wrestling ring out front, and she was completely living out her dreams jumping inside it, with her wrestling figures in tote. Thank you so much to the owner for making this the most special experience, from start to finish. She already wants to have her birthday party there next year! We will definitely be back and I will definitely be telling everyone I know about our experience.”

“The absolute best!! We love Mr. West’s, can’t count how many times we’ve been since they opened! The food is always fresh and delicious, and comes so quickly! We have tried just about everything on the menu, and I’d recommend it all. My personal favorites are the shrimp tempura rice bowl, the spicy garlic noodles, the nachos, and the dumplings. “Look this was never even supposed to end up being a review which is why you'll notice that all the food has been dug into lol. So a bit of back story I went to this restaurant quite a few years ago and my first experience was kind of meh. The burger was okay at best, the fries were extremely salty, and the lemonade was watered down. This place is called Gyros Cafe. Now about a month ago on a Friday just like today I was scrolling through Door Dash (I'm still boycotting Uber Eats) looking for something different to try and enjoy my Friday night (Disclaimer I did not eat all this in one sitting this was a meal I split for 2 days lol). Well I came across them and decided it's been a very long time since I've had them let's give them another try. So I did! Yall look here I sampled everything while it was hot and yes everything showed up piping hot. The bacon Cheeseburger was amazing flavors balanced cooked just right like honestly no notes. 9/10 The wings were shockingly good. At first glance you think oh overcooked. But they weren't! They were seasoned well with a great crunch and the ranch was killer! 8/10 I'm sure the mozzarella sticks are just frozen but idk what brand they use or they may actually make them fresh. Either way they were so good and everything I look for in a good mozzarella stick. The marinara sauce was pretty good too! 9/10 Lastly the seasoned cheese fries. Guys they weren't salty at all this time. Cheese could have been a bit better but it still gets a really good score of a 7.9/10 I highly recommend you go try Gyros Cafe in Chalkville/Trussville area. Whatever they have done from then to now they have done a complete 180 and whoever is in charge and working in that kitchen are doing a great job. Not gonna lie I want to order this again right now lol!”

I recommend this place to everyone. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area and the food is worth it. I also love that they deliver.”

“We stopped in for lunch,while visiting Trussville, Alabama. The establishment was clean and quite tidy even with the high volume of customers. We did enjoyed a delicious meal. My hubby ordered the Fat boy burrito and I two tacos(cheezy beef and redneck) both are served with chips and salsa. We each enjoyed a refreshingly tasty margarita, a perfect compliment to the meal. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive to customers. We much appreciated the delicious and relaxing lunch, after our travels.”

“I actually really like this location and the drinks are great but only this time they filled my drink up with ice to where the ice was touching the top of my lid which left very little juice so next time just not so much ice I barely had any juice in cup. Other than that nice place”

“Absolutely brilliant. We just tried Umami tonight, and I am beyond pleased with the experience. Our waitress was extremely helpful in assisting me (indecisive) choose from the extensive menu—there were SO MANY things I wanted to try. The drinks were awesome (Pink Sand Beach was my favorite), the food was delicious (I recommend getting several things if you can afford to do so), and the staff was very attentive and friendly!!”
