“We have a wheel chair bound member of our party. The staff knew exactly what her needs were without asking. Salad was chopped so for a change she didn't have to sit there like a child while someone at the table cut her salad. Bathroom was totally accessible. Food was delicious. Wonderful visit.”

“When I walked in the door, I was greeted by someone. I was told there would be a 5 minute wait to sit down. It didn’t take the whole 5 minutes for me and two additional people to be seated. The business was quite full but everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, smiling and eating. As soon as we were seated a waitress took our drink orders along with our food. We received our drinks right away. It took approximately 10 minutes for us to get our food. The food was delicious. I am impressed. Great service overall. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further! I had the taco trio- steak, chicken and carnitas, my husband got the tamales, soup and street corn, I had the hibiscus water, my husband had the mango…then for dessert we had the ice cream popsicles; he had pistachio and I had strawberries n cream and I tried a little bit of everything on the salsa bar and it was all delicious. All I can say is WOW. It is better than we imagined. I hardly ever leave reviews, but Juanita definitely deserved a shoutout! Everyone was so kind. When we pass back through Leeds, Alabama next time, we will definitely be back.”

“The absolute best!! We love Mr. West’s, can’t count how many times we’ve been since they opened! The food is always fresh and delicious, and comes so quickly! We have tried just about everything on the menu, and I’d recommend it all. My personal favorites are the shrimp tempura rice bowl, the spicy garlic noodles, the nachos, and the dumplings. “As far as I know, there are only two places in Saint Clair County that serve country ham with their breakfast. Those would be Cracker Barrel (not a fan) and Waffle House. (This was in Springville.)
This morning we ate at Waffle House and I had their country ham with eggs, hashbrowns, raisin toast and coffee.
My favorite waitress is Amanda (and then Jo). Joey the cook does a great job.

My hubby ordered the Fat boy burrito and I two tacos(cheezy beef and redneck) both are served with chips and salsa. We each enjoyed a refreshingly tasty margarita, a perfect compliment to the meal. “El Patron 3 in Trussville is a must-visit! I had the steak fajitas, and they were absolutely incredible, served sizzling hot, bursting with flavor, and perfectly tender. “Look this was never even supposed to end up being a review which is why you'll notice that all the food has been dug into lol. So a bit of back story I went to this restaurant quite a few years ago and my first experience was kind of meh. The burger was okay at best, the fries were extremely salty, and the lemonade was watered down. This place is called Gyros Cafe. Now about a month ago on a Friday just like today I was scrolling through Door Dash (I'm still boycotting Uber Eats) looking for something different to try and enjoy my Friday night (Disclaimer I did not eat all this in one sitting this was a meal I split for 2 days lol). Well I came across them and decided it's been a very long time since I've had them let's give them another try. So I did! Yall look here I sampled everything while it was hot and yes everything showed up piping hot. The bacon Cheeseburger was amazing flavors balanced cooked just right like honestly no notes. 9/10 The wings were shockingly good. At first glance you think oh overcooked. But they weren't! They were seasoned well with a great crunch and the ranch was killer! 8/10 I'm sure the mozzarella sticks are just frozen but idk what brand they use or they may actually make them fresh. Either way they were so good and everything I look for in a good mozzarella stick. The marinara sauce was pretty good too! 9/10 Lastly the seasoned cheese fries. Guys they weren't salty at all this time. Cheese could have been a bit better but it still gets a really good score of a 7.9/10 I highly recommend you go try Gyros Cafe in Chalkville/Trussville area. Whatever they have done from then to now they have done a complete 180 and whoever is in charge and working in that kitchen are doing a great job. Not gonna lie I want to order this again right now lol!”

“It was our first time at Umami. The server was very nice and helpful.

My wife wasn’t very hungry, and she not an adventurous eater, so she chose the ginger salad and the Pork Belly Taco. The server explained in advance that the taco would be very small, but my wife ordered it anyway. The taco was small and it was served in a cute small wooden holder. My wife said both were excellent and that the next time she just might order three or four of little tacos.

The special was the prices some of the sushi rolls on the regular menu were reduced to $11. So I paid $11 the Blazer Roll sushi instead of $17. It was composed of Avocado, cream cheese, crab, meat, etc. It was very good. I also had the Baked Crab Avocado. it was a half of an avocado baked in the skin and topped with some kind of crab meat mix with very thin cut strings of red and green Asian cabbage sprinkled over every thing. All excellent!

Everything was very nice and we will be back.

Vegetarian options: There is not a vegetarian or vegan menu but the contacts have all of the menu items are clearly described.

Parking: The restaurant is in the Trussville entertainment district and we parked in one of the parking slots. if those straight slots are already taken there is a huge free parking lot nearby.

Kid-friendliness: if you have kids, we don’t, you can sit outside and there is a kids playing area nearby. You can watch them as you eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: The Into our Trussville entertainment district is totally wheelchair assessable.”

“My wife and I have ordered Chinese food from this place and every time it has been really good. Their vegetable LoMein is far better than most places around with plenty of vegetables in it. The House Fried rice is really good as well. We usually get a large wonton soup as well and it is loaded with wontons, unlike some high priced places that only give you 1 wonton per order.The prices are very reasonable. One thing, this is not fast food so do not expect to get your meal in less that 20 to 30 minutes after ordering. We usually order to takeout and eat at home. The people that we met in there while waiting have been sociable and friendly. Also, if you have special needs, ask.”
