If you love the cozy corner cafe and bookstore vibe then you will love LaLa’s! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. They have a good selection of wines and they can recommend pairings for the best experience and taste. Just know that if you want a slice of chocolate cake you better come early it goes fast.

We had such a nice time at LaLa’s last night! The appetizers were delicious: feta dip and corn dip. We also ordered the Ohana pizza and the other couple had the Big Dawg pizza. Both were excellent. If Portnoy were reviewing the pizza as a standalone, I’m not sure how well it would fare. However, pizza is always good and the atmosphere was fabulous!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I need to let folks know … if you want good pizza don’t come here. The dough tastes like cardboard. Pizza not cooked thoroughly. Barely any marinara and what little marinara there is tastes like ketchup. Very disappointed. Definitely will not be returning customers

This evening was the first time we had tried this place. We will for sure be back. The atmosphere was very nice. Their wine list was impressive. Their coffee was the best. I got a white mocah ice latte and it was the best I've ever had. We got a buffalo chicken dip and a pizza. And both were fantastic. Would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Ordered two pizzas to go. Got home there were barely any vegetables on them. Very disappointing. The flavor of the sauce and cheese was good overall but for the price it should have plenty of vegetables. I ordered a 16 inch and one of the vegetables was green pepper there wasn’t 1/2 of a green pepper on the entire pizza.

A hidden gem. Never knew the place was here but the pizza we got was delicious and huge. Service above and beyond!! We loved it and will be back soon.
Such a cool little place! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Worth the short drive from Gadsden or Birmingham if you enjoy mom and pop businesses. Support Local! And worth the stop if you’re traveling I-59 through North Alabama.

Lala’s is a great establishment to visit if you’re in the Ashville area and want a drink, meal, or place to relax and read. With its rustic interior, comfortable furniture, and calming atmosphere, Lala’s can be a wonderful place to sit back and read any of the hundreds of books they have stocked. The bar, featuring drinks on tap or in bottles, provides a nice setting for a casual drink with friends. The various seating areas and satisfying dishes offer an excellent opportunity to gather with others and enjoy a pleasant meal. The food served at this restaurant is delicious, and with 14 different named pizzas, 7 smaller dishes, 4 types of snacks, and a customizable charcuterie board, there are plenty of choices for your lunch or dinner needs. A personal favorite of mine is the baked buffalo chicken dip. Beyond just the food, they also offer many different types of alcohol, as well as specialty coffee and great desserts. All of the staff are very kind and passionate about the business, and it’s easy to order and receive your food. The order-to-table time is usually quite quick but can slow down during a crowd due to the naturally small size of the restaurant. Overall, Lala’s is an amazing local establishment, and one that I always enjoy visiting.
