Front counter was nice and helpful. The food came out promptly little to no wait time. I ordered the half chicken plate with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Unfortunately the chicken was very very dry, and had no flavor. I pretty much drowned it in white sauce which was pretty good. The baked beans were mediocre the best thing was the Mac and cheese which had a big piece of plastic from I assume a wrapper in it. My husband got a ham sandwich with the same sides. He also said the ham was flavorless. Atmosphere was nice, but I don't think we will be making a trip back.

Atmosphere was really nice, I felt like the flavor of the pork was bland even with the BBQ sauce, and the beans were different but not in a bad way just not the flavor I was expecting from baked beans. It was a little bit of a wait but everything came out hot and fresh.
The young lady at the counter made my day! She’s very nice and sweet. I even watched her handle a rude woman ahead of me inquiring about the ham being VEGAN! Shoulda checked google first it’s posted there. The young woman kept her composure and tried to answer ALL her questions. (There were a lot of them) The woman even insulted her by asking if something was wrong with her nose or did she just sound like that. The poor girl was obviously getting over a cold of some sort. Smh She just kept working. I will say they looked short handed but they did the best they could. Thank you for trying to give the best services you could counter Ladies!

Pulled pork was flavorful, moist, and portioned well for the plate— slaw was tasty (vinegar based) and beans were pleasant. Banana pudding was a real treat. Staff was friendly, store was clean, and service was fast. Cant wait to come back and hit the ribs.

I went here a few years ago and really liked it. I came back tonight and the food lacked flavor and portions were small. There’s a lot better bbq places nearby for the same, if not cheaper, prices.

Sad place nowadays, staff is indifferent, no more crowds, some of the food quality has gone way downhill. Staff is fussy with each other. Not sure if this place is under new management or ownership, but it's no longer the place that we once adored. Stuffed potatoes, pulled pork, and ribs are amazing, the best in the area - that's why I'll never stop visiting, even if they are rude to me, lol! Catfish nuggets are garbage, they even deleted a picture of them I had uploaded onto their Facebook Page - so they know they're bad. Anyways, I'll check in on y'all from time to time, please don't be rude to me like you usually are, I'm really trying to support y'all the best I can, but you sure don't make it easy. Just remember, there are too many places in Athens nowadays that have excellent food, cost twice as much, and are busier. Customer service goes a long way, we want to go where people are happy to take our money.

I think 306 has the best Brunswick stew in the area, it contains a lot of meat and very tasty but not spicy. The ribs were good too - cooked just right, not spicy either so you can taste the meat.
