They know me by name and have my tea for me sometimes even before I sit down. Brenda knows my order and asks if I want it the same doesn't even need to bring me a menu. I see the folks I went to school with here and even my 9th grade math teacher. This place is like home!

I picked up lunch here for the fam. Mom passed away on the 9th. We were all at her house going through her things and everyone was hungry. I wanted to buy local food instead of going to a big chain and Cafe 72 was close by, so Cafe 72 it was. I called the order in for pickup and the voice on the other end was so polite and helpful. Not to mention it was a big order and we got everything we asked for. The bacon cheeseburgers are big and delicious! May, lettuce, tomato ,bacon and cheese of course. The buns are heated on the grill which, to me, sets the whole burger off. We ordered three of those. My wife, my nieces boyfriend and I ordered them. The crispitos are big and packed with beef. My little sister and brother-in-law ordered those. We asked for a side of cheese and sour cream and we got it. My niece got the BLT with a side of mayo and her little boy got the kids corndog meal. He ate it up, too ? The atmosphere was welcoming and as I looked around the dining room I saw some veterans sitting around eating, which I loved seeing. It gave me the feeling that this place is appreciative, thankful and respectful of our great country's veterans. Cafe 72 has great food y'all. I didn't get any pictures this time, sorry. Go by and eat there. From looking at the online menu they have a lot of great food to choose from. This order came out to around $47...to feed 7 people! You will not go to the big chain restaurants and feed that many people with such a small bill. I was amazed at this and I am so glad we chose Cafe 72 for lunch that day.

The older woman waitress was so sweet. I wish I could remember her name. She was so very kind, She was running back and forth to tables but she still made our visit easy and fast. It was so enjoyable to be there for lunch today. My family, friends and I will be back. Try the chicken and dressing Thursday special dinner. It was excellent.

The staff here is very helpful! I've been several times, and they let me know when I tried to order something that wasn't going to be good, they did a great job taking my specific orders, and they have the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! The only downside is the beverage selection, they only have diet Pepsi, and it tastes a little weird!
Felt like home Lunch was chicken in a tomato, corn & potato soup base. A grilled cheese sandwich, cornbread, and a piece of spice cake. Very casual folks waited on you. We'd go back. If you're tired of fast food drive thru's try Cafe 72.

Sadly this establishment has removed most of their vegan options from the menu. They used to offer vegan pancakes! But we asked about the removal of the ‘vegan’ labels from those dishes and they said they are no longer offering that option. They do have vegan overnight oats, a Buddha Bowl and Falafel Wrap though. I’m just sad about the pancakes😒

Food is always good. One of the best burgers and some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. They have weekday daily affordable specials, for some it might lack variety but it's affordable and they will treat you like family.
It's locally owned and operated. Go in with a patient mind and enjoy a diner like meal.
