Hush puppies are really good. Cole slaw, is great. The catfish was on point. Hot and fresh. Reasonable prices for the portion sizes on the fish. The popcorn shrimp were a waste of money. Basically fried batter with barely any shrimp. The fries were cheap crinkle cut fries that were soggy and limp and the fried chicken tenders were just not good. The service was fantastic and couldn’t ask for a better waitress. Seriously this place does customer service right. But the food seems to have suffered over the years due to inflation. The majority of the food, definitely was not worth the money. Stick to the catfish and you’ll be golden.

Both the grilled & fried catfish were awesome! You can't beat the hushpuppies. Fresh salads & perfectly cooked baked potatoes. Recommend you try this place.
Don’t trust recommendations from the Facebook group “what’s happening in Athens” . They don’t know what they don’t know. Majority of the recommendations are like this. Oysters were tiny and overcooked, not fresh. Shrimp tasted like defrosted TV dinner. Save your time. The ones saying this is good are from locals who don’t know what they don’t know.
