I ordered the regular chicken salad on a croissant. Normally, a croissant is flaky and tender. This croissant was thick and stale. There was more bread than there was chicken salad. I have been to other chicken salad chick and have always had a great experience. This was my worst experience ever.

Ordered a catered take out over a week in advance in person. Then received email confirmation. Arrived at appointed time to pick up and they were unaware of my order. Someone did find order and then filled it. I was quite late arriving at my luncheon due to the delay of food not being ready.

I'm a big fan of Chicken Salad Chick, but today was not their best day in the food department. One member of our group received a chick melt on a croissant that was burned on the top. The chicken artichoke soup I received was extremely thick, more like a dip. I had to ask for crackers, and they were stale. The coating on the grape salad I received was much too thick. The broccoli salad is always drier than we like for it to be, and we had to ask twice to get enough extra dressing to make it better. Thankfully, this was an unusual experience, but dining out is too expensive these days to expect anything less than good food.
