This place looks nasty. Men’s bathroom had poop stuck to the toliet. So gross! Floors needed to be mopped. Trash all over the main dining room. Dirty tables. We visited at 1:00 on Sunday afternoon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Started 2026 with a barbacoa bowl at the Chipotle on Hwy 72 in Athens, Alabama—white rice, pinto beans, queso, lettuce, and shredded cheese. Large portions and filling. The barbacoa seasoning wasn’t my favorite, but overall it was good. My girlfriend and I also noticed the sweet tea tasted extra sweet, like it had a lot of sugar. Smaller, newer-looking location with plenty of seating. Great spot for a healthy meal.

How do you get a quesadilla mixed up with a bowl? They even had it marked on the label “quesadilla” but instead I get a some type of bowl I didn’t order. We also paid extra for a specific red sauce and it was left out. So disappointing!!

Today I went to this place to get vegetarian bowl. I strictly gave them instructions that I am pure vegetarian and I don’t want anything mix up. So, please be careful while packing the food. And even I asked for each dish they were adding to the bowl if it has meat in it or not. When I was eating the veg bowl I came up to chew beef which is strictly prohibited in my religion as we worship it. This was such nasty act. This caused me distress, discomfort and vomiting. Such practices are strictly unacceptable. I don’t know how come such a reputated brand Chipotle ignore such restrictions of their customers. Too awful experience. Please please vegetarian never ever try chipotle in such places.

You know, the food is most of the time decent but idk what it is with Chipotle in general…their employees are always rude as hell. Especially this location. No one has polite anymore. Customer service interaction is a disgrace. Do better.

I go here a bit too often. The staff is usually very kind and efficient. However, one time they had a trailer who wasn't listening very well and I had to repeat my requests a few times and she filled the quesadillas weird. I think she was a trainee and I've not seen her since. I just wish honey chipotle chocken will rewritten again someday...
Terrible service, I’ve been to every chipotle in northern and middle Alabama. The only chipotle I have ever met that will not give you a cup of water for my service dog any larger than a small. to go. Absolutely ridiculous. Spoke to the manger and she was very rude about it as well.

Quick Hot and Fresh. Stoped by to feed the family as we got into town. Guys here got us everything 30min before close. 5 kids and 6 Adults all have dinner now.

Like most Chipotle’s in this area this one is also poorly managed. Floors in the restaurant were very dirty including the restrooms. Trash was littered everywhere. I started to pickup some myself. I also don’t know what’s happened with the food, but it doesn’t taste good like in the past. Maybe it’s the mild salsa/pico or the meat, but something’s been off. My food was ready when I arrived and made correctly so that was good. I plan to not go back for some time.

ZERO ⭐️s for cleanliness. This is far from my first trip to a Chipotle. Rarely do I ever leave a review because it generally is what I expect, but this is the dirtiest location I have ever seen. The floors, the tables, the kitchen, and the counter where you get napkins etc, all filthy. There’s literally no excuse for this and while they had business it wasn’t super busy.
