We passed through Athens on the way to Florida. Saw very good ratings for Elizabeth’s Cocina Mexicana & Bar. Stopped and had a great meal “Pineapple Chicken Fajita” and a Lime frozen Margarita. The atmosphere was bright and clean. Friendly staff was a highlight as well. Will stop again for sure!
The best food for the best price and the kindest employees! I moved to Athens only a few months ago and I’ve lost count of how many times my family has eaten here, simply because of the quality of food, service, and prices. The corn tortillas are homemade and are so good!

We had a wonderful first experience! Not only was the food delicious and very flavorful, but our service was great. We went in around 8 pm (they close at 9) and were seated immediately. Our server was the best—I wish I had gotten his name.
