Absolutely everything you want in a place like this. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious and the portions are huge especially for the price. Its VERY fast. The tamales are delicious but i love the breakfast burritos. Definitely try this place if you were considering it.
FINALLY got to try this place on a recent trip to Athens. My husband is a tamale fiend and said these were some of the best he’d ever eaten. They were so moist and fresh, with generous filling. The jalapeno and cheese ones were especially delicious. Both homemade salsas were super tasty as well.
I tried the breakfast torta with chorizo and eggs - it was HUGE for only $8!! Love how the chorizo was scrambled with the eggs, and all of the toppings went so well...

One of the best meals we’ve had since moving to the area six years ago. Huge, fresh, amazingly flavorful and delicious breakfast burritos. We had beans, potatoes, eggs, and cheese, and to add to all of the goodness, I had steak, and my husband had chorizo. We are Texans, so we take Mexican food seriously, and this will be a go-to place (and meal) for us now! Super affordable, helpful and kind staff, and a great assortment of sodas and juices. Try the house-made salsa- so yummy!...
