My daughter's wedding reception was lovely! The charming decor was very complimentary to the flowers and food we offered our guests. The staff had set up the space with all linens for the tables and we had a stress free set up of our own decorations. The guests were pleased with the event and everyone enjoyed the day. Thank you Lake Ida for a memorable time!

I’ve had a couple of events here and can’t say enough about what a fabulous site it is! All of my guests raved about the charming ambiance. When I hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner here, the owner went out of the way to make sure everything was perfect. Later I had a book-signing event here and was thrilled with everything about it.
Lake Ida is my go-to venue for events!

What an awful experience in dealing with this venue director! From my personal perspective she does not understand how to properly run a venue, nor work with customers. I graduated from an Institute in New York after 300 hours of schooling in Event Planning. I am educated appropriately to leave this review. In my personal opinion which I am free to express, she over charges for everything! This lady charged me $11.66 AN HOUR for using a little ice cart! Secondly, she never once explained to me how to make entry to the back of her venue, and tried to chastise me in front of my guest because I thought we had to go through the building to get to the back. If she had told me I had to walk around through grass carrying things, ya think I want to do that with heels on!?!! She wants to quote contract constantly. Ma’am you need to include a site map! People don’t know what you call each little room of yours, much less know where your back entrances are! I had a party there 3 years ago and I didn’t even know there was a back entry way, and couldn’t have told you what the names were of her rooms. In addition, she changed her contract and didn’t even tell me that verbally knowing I was a former renter. I am glad I took photos when I left there for my own protection as a renter. Someone already told me not to rent from her over her freaking out about them having glitter!!!!

Extremely rude owner considering how much was paid for this space. Weird smell. Do NOT recommend hosting any event here. Owner was beyond disrespectful and it’s not the first time we have heard that. There is a way to speak and a way to NOT speak to customers no matter who is right or wrong.

I attended a party tonight, and as I tried to help the party host iron her small rectangle linen on the venue’s cheap fold out table ( that had metal legs and a hard plastic top) the venue owner acted like she was going to have a stroke and told me I couldn’t finish it and had to stop. Someone should tell this lady those tables are dirt cheap and you don’t treat customers or their guests that way. I hope she knows there were 5 business owners from Limestone County in attendance and none of them were pleased to hear of her ridiculous behavior!

Older lady with long grey hair is super rude. I attended an event here. The venue is nice but the owner or worker is so insufferable that they will never get my business, also smelt like a sewer for some reason

Nice place to rent for a gathering. Clean facility, easy parking, nice seating indoors and beside the lake.
