I live fifteen miles out of Athens! I was going home out of town so I ordered a pizza an extra large Shaq-a-roni. I get home and the pizza has no sauce and it wasn’t cut. I’ve never had a problem with Papa johns before but that’s last time I’ll buy from Athens papa johns.

Sad, very sad, so Athens has 2 dismal pizza chains. Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. This Papa Johns pizza crust was chewy, toppings sparse and sauce all but non-existent.
Delivery driver walked away and said "No tip"? I told him we left a tip online and he said, "Well, there's nothing there." Is this your normal operating procedure? That your drivers ASK for a tip??? He said, "You guys normally leave a tip." REALLY? WE'VE NEVER ORDERED FROM YOU BEFORE. Food was so-so. Won't order from this place again.

I literally bypass 2-3 different stores just to come to this one. The employees are ALWAYS nice, and the food quality is immaculate. That wasn’t the case today. There was a totally different group of employees working.. my order was not made right- which NEVER happens- so I called the store. The employees I spoke with were VERY nasty, and wanted to argue with me over a mistake THEY made. As a regular and loyal customer, this is excruciatingly disheartening. I guess it’s hard to KEEP stellar employees these days?.

I wouldn’t normally review on a pizza place that I can get anywhere. ButListen, we order about once a week, and this has been BY FAR the best pizza we have had. It’s never burnt, cold, or even ugly. It’s the perfect melty and delicious every single time. The delivery drivers are awesome as well, super personable and kind. I am never disappointed! Keep up the great work y’all!!
