I ordered the tacos, and they really weren’t that good, but the ice cream was pretty decent. Unfortunately, the tres leches tasted spoiled. I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back.
I’ve had negative experiences in the past with my orders being incorrect and the person taking the call being rude.
Recently, I decided to give them another try after they came to my workplace and reminded me how good their tacos are. Today, I was craving one of their tortas, so I called in and placed an order. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken was so tough it was inedible—almost like cardboard—and the avocado inside was black.
I called to let the manager know about the issue, but she was quite dismissive and showed little concern about the poor quality of the food. I’m frustrated and sad that I wasted both time and money, only to end up throwing the food away.
Love the in house hot sauce. 🔥 Beautiful location with a wonderful staff. Lots of food options and everything was very good. I went simple with shrimp and rice combo and street tacos I am a sucker for. Everything was great. The inhouse spicy sauce was really good. Could of course be hotter. I like fire. I really enjoyed the food and the staff, a wonderful place to have some good food and relax.

Very much enjoyed our lunch today! First time eating here and have to say I loved it. The queso had a pecan hint to it which was actually really good. I recommend grabbing a meal here.

I wanted Chips, Salsa, and Queso but the other Sabor Latino was closed unfortunately. So I thought that ordering from this one would be the same or at least similar right? This was the worst chips, salsa, and queso ever. The salsa is very watery and bland. Plus, the cashier was rude. Won’t be coming back.

This business has a rude little girl answering the phone. If it wasn’t for the rude employees maybe this business would be worth going back to. However, I will be spreading the word to everyone I know to avoid this business! The other Sabor Latino is beyond better.

My favorite taqueria in Alabama. I've never had anything there that didn’t please me, and I've eaten at least half the menu over the years. Their Colorado sauce is the best I've ever had, and both homemade hot sauces--the red and the green--are fabulous and uniquely creamy, not a runny or chunky texture most typical of hot sauces. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are plentiful. If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant with a server to take care of you, there are plenty of other options from which to choose. (Yes, they have tables, but this is primarily a counter-service place that does a ton of take-out business.) However, if the food itself is your focus, try the authentic, delicious, home-style recipes at Sabor Latino. And do yourself a favor: request both hot sauces. Fair warning, though--they've got a kick!
