We had an emergency today! Lol Our son's football team needed catering for their game. It was very last minute and we had 70 kids to feed in a few hours! I looked online and it said catering required a 12 hour notice. We definitely didn't have that amount of time. I called up there and the staff was so gracious! One of the ladies stayed past her shift to help make the food. We can't thank them enough! They were all so kind and helpful!

I wasn't overly impressed. Most of our towns have way too many chicken places. This one does not stand out in any way that makes me want to visit it more often than any of the others.
I think they should offer chicken that's a little bit more healthy and with vegetables. That's really what I thought it was based on the name.
But, it's just more of the same, fried, fried and fried chicken!

They are always friendly and fast. By the time we get our drinks and get back to our table, they are already bringing our food out. It's been that way every time that we've been to this location. Even dealing with the heat from the AC issues, the staff was still smiling and friendly. It's probably the best Slim Chickens location that I've ever been to.

Came by the other day and decided to dine in, I wish I got the two gentlemens names who helped me. They were so nice. Placing my order was easy & quick. Our food came out quick. The restaurant was clean the restrooms were clean. Only small issue was that my tenders were a little rubbery. But everything else was great. Keep doing a good job. I really wish I knew the two gentlemen’s names because they absolutely deserve a raise. Will be back to this location!!

UPDATE: The manager of the local restaurant called me and apologized for internal confusion at the restaurant about the coupon. She did strive to make things right and I appreciated the speed with which she called and the responsiveness related to the problem... ORIGINAL POST: The food was good and I went through the drive-through so the service was fast and friendly. The reason for the (original) 2-star rating was that we live in Athens and received an ad at our home for all restaurants in the Huntsville area, including the address of the Athens restaurant. Also, when I ordered at the drive-through, the person taking my order said the coupon would be accepted. Then I got to the window and the person taking my card said she had been told they would not accept the coupons. I clarified with her that the coupon was from the flyer that included their address. She responded that she understood and that I was not the only person who had attempted to use a coupon. This restaurant needed to be clear with the corporate office that they are not accepting coupons so the flyers are not printed with the address of this restaurant on them and are not delivered to the Athens area.
