Came in when they first opened and was disappointed to find they don't use pictures of their own food which is absolutely deceptive and false advertising. An order of fries also took 45 minutes to get. Had an iffy dealing with a wholesale order as well, that we ended up not getting. Willing to give this place another try because good seafood is hard to come by in the area and I'm holding out for this one still.

Staff very friendly, food absolutely terrific! Like almost everywhere, they have had trouble maintaining adequate staffing levels but seem ti have this taken care of now. Good people, good food, good prices. Usually stop there once a week, never disappointed.

Smith’s was great when they started. So good that many folks have given a lot of grace and understanding to slowly getting back in the groove during and after pandemic. However, the service is just no longer acceptable. Website is down(has been for weeks), phone number is busy, doesn’t answer, or voicemail is full. Hours listed are rarely followed, it’s a shot in the dark and stroke of luck to catch them open. Then, their bread and butter for wholesale(which is how they started) doesn’t allow for dependable orders. I called over and over on Wednesday June 30th for a 15lb order of shrimp and was told they had plenty and to call Friday to place order for pickup Saturday. Called Friday, no answer, voicemail full. Called Saturday same. Btw, multiple attempts both days. Other folks pre-ordered crawfish and was told 1100 pickup time. Line of people at 1100 and no one there. I believe 1 person finally showed up to deal with all those orders. Saddest part is, owner gets defensive and lashes out at customers who are fed up instead of owning up to the fact the business isn’t performing to standard expectations. You know, answer the phone, take orders, fill them on time. Not asking for special treatment. I’ve been a customer for Smith’s for a couple years and I’ll never go back.

After the quality of my order today, I probably will not be back. Fries were barely cooked, basically seasoned grease soaked potatoes. Gator and shrimp lacked breading. My family thought I had ordered grilled meats. The vehicle was half a cup and looked nothing like what is advertised on their fb page.The wait was beyond unacceptable. We have been loyal customers since back in the day when we had to pick up at Danny's house. Hope things start to get back to normal.

They have outstanding seafood and the staff are friendly and it was a nice environment

If you like seafood, this should be your go to place. Rocky was super helpful. He spent time talking to us about the food and the food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Phone is never on for a call in order and they close just whenever they feel like. We have been to the store 3 times and they are always closed every time has been before 7pm. But the food is great when you can catch them open.

Best food in town! Worth driving a hour and half for.

Horrible.... is the only word... they gave me frozen corn shrimp that had been soaking all day in some sort of water ... got home tasted the food and placed it in the trash... waste of money ...who knows it could have been a bad day but dam

Service was awful today. I felt so sorry for them. People were waiting forever to get there food, and when they got it, it was wrong. Including us. They are a hot mess and the food was not good. Shrimp was so over cooked that you could take the peel off, the corn was brown and over cooked, and they left out half our order. So disappointed. They have a great thing going if they can get their act together, but I will not be going back anytime soon. Sorry guys.... You basically robbed me.

Amazing food. Fresh seafood. Great service.

Very inconsistent. Fish tacos are consistently good. Fried shrimp plate was Seapak frozen shrimp (think Captain D’s). Gumbo was horrible—too slimy to eat, and I will eat just about anything. Boiled shrimp has been good. Sausage is overcooked. Gator bites-one time they were really good. Next time overcooked and tough. Just never know what you will get.

Good stuff here...ordered fish tacos...so good. Gayla helped me, she is a sweet heart!
