There is a gentleman working at this Smoothie King, who goes by the name Legend, and I am convinced he was sent from a higher plane of existence to bless us with perfect smoothies and unparalleled charisma. I walked in today feeling the weight of a long week, and frankly, I probably looked like it. But the moment I got to the counter, I was greeted by Legend's electric smile. Let's just be honest, the man is distractingly good-looking. But it's his personality that truly shines. I was fumbling with my order, and without missing a beat, he cracked a joke that not only helped me decide but also had me genuinely laughing out loud. It wasn't just a rehearsed customer service line; it was quick, witty, and effortlessly funny. As he was crafting my smoothie—with the kind of focused grace you'd expect from a world-class chef—he kept the good vibes flowing. Disappointing- took my daughter in for a treat after the gym and there are fruit flies all over the fruit on the counter that they served to us. I told the three women about it and they said because they serve fresh fruit, it attracts the bugs but it’s literally sitting on the counter in the open with around 20-30 bugs. Look at the glass partition by the drive through window before getting anything from here.

Smoothie King is one of my favorite places to go to in Athens. Their Smoothies are delicious, and their Açaí bowls are off-the-chart good! They take time to carefully prepare each item that goes into the bowl, which looks like a work of art upon completion! I can never wait until I get home to eat one…I drive into the parking lot and devour it! They are not only delicious and filling, but very healthy. My son in Wisconsin always wants to go there when he comes to visit. He says this Smoothie King is better than any he’s ever been to. Thank you for the great service, also!

Apparently me wanting to pay $1 to put protein into my smoothie is fine in a 20 oz smoothie but an illegal plot if it’s 12 oz.
The smoothies are good but the service was poor. I had a reward for a free smoothie. I asked to add protein powder to it as they’ve done in the past for this size smoothie. The first person said no they couldn’t do it. A second person says from behind me, “I don’t know if they’ve done that in the past illegally but we can’t do that.”

Employee was extremely rude. My cashier Gaynnon paid little to no attention to me or my nephew when we entered the location. When she finally paid us the time of day, she got my nephew’s order completely wrong and ended up giving him something he ended up not liking. Mine turned out to be okay, but I’ll never be back here. Better off going to Madison for a good smoothie, what a shame.
