Steak-Out Charbroiled Delivery

Ive been ordering from this location since 2021 and I was happy because they delivered to my neighborhood. I've made orders for one or more people multiple times and I ALWAYS tip. Some time in 2023, I was told that my order needed to be $50 or more to deliver to my area. I said okay, no biggie and made sure my orders were more than $50 dollars even if I had to add an extra roll...lol. Fast forward to 6/18/25, I placed an order, for myself, and added extra rolls, got a lunch special, tea and entree to meet the $50 threshold. I received a call from the restaurant stating that it needed to be $75 before they would deliver and would I like to add more items. Mmmmm no! Remind you, when I check my address online, it registers as a delivery area, but it does not state a minimum order amount and I was already ordering more than what I needed. I declined and canceled because at this point I felt like they were taking advantage and making things up as they go. 😪 Gonna miss this location.

I can't say enough good things about the Athens location. It never matters who takes my order they are very kind and thorough with that order. The delivery drivers are extremely thoughtful and carefully check my order upon arrival. The food quality is outstanding. (One of the best burgers I have had). I love that it's cooked just how I ask them to do it. I am also grateful that they do not skimp on the portions. Once they even delivered when most of Athens was snowed in. Kudos for making my delivery with chains on your tires when i couldn't get out of my driveway.
This is an AAA+++ establishment.

I order from here every Tuesday and the food as well as the service is ALWAYS amazing. It’s always hot and cooked the way I ask. The tea is awesome too!

Editing to add: I tried the KEYLIME cheesecake today and it is amazing!

The food was good but their ordering system needs to be updated. We should be able to order and tip without having to call and speak with someone. They actually have a fax number listed. That's a blast from the past. 😁

I called several times today and ALL calls are going straight to voicemail. The food is always poorly made with no effort either over cooked, over seasoned etc. The staff is short tempered, rude, and poorly managed. I don't even understand why this location exist. It should be closed for good and start over with new location and whole new staff.

51 bucks for 3 burgers and 3 can cokes. The burgers was mediocre definitely not worth it doesn't come with fries just a small bag of chips.

My name is Tracy. I just went to Steak-Out in Athens, Alabama. I spent $100. My steak was tough. They got my order wrong. I took it back up there They still didn't understand my order. I would never eat there again and then they had the nurse to take a tip out. How you going to get a tip? Your food should have been on point. I am sick and tired of eating at these restaurants where they don't care about the customer food long as they making the money and I wish you all kind of bad luck on your business

We called at 8pm to get a take out and they close at nine they just kept putting us on hold for 45 mins called 5 times in that 45 mins I don’t know who’s running this place now but you can’t just ignore paying customers trying to give u business because your lazy and getting close to closing time

I just spent 40 on a meal, The steak was under cooked. The potatoe was a nasty brown on the inside when I cut it. The steak if full of gristle. This is my last time ordering from here. Over price for the quality of food you received.

Food is always yummy, but when I ordered 4 side cups of diced grilled chicken, they combined it into 1 tiny container which was probably the equivalent of 2 normal side chicken cups that I have ordered here in the past. $20 for this tiny box of chicken! Wanted 4 servings not 2.
