In town on vacation and for a Slingshot event and wanted Italian but something we don’t have at home. I found Terranova’s on google maps. I had spaghetti and my hubby had cheese ravioli and both were very good. The fresh baked bread with oil was also delicious. Our waitress was attentive and kept us in drinks. Service was fast. It was a delightful dinner and experience. The decor was unique and appealing.

This hole in the wall Italian restaurant does NOT disappoint!! If you are out and about and looking for a place to stop, wait till 4pm and go here. Incredibly fresh food. Great staff. After our meal the owner even came and chatted with us. Extremely friendly guy. All around a great experience!

The server was as sweet as could be. But the food... burnt, gross, even the broccoli was burnt.The amount of fat I pulled from the ribeye is a bit much.Pics includedI'm a huge fan of the Chain. The Madison location has had different issues, but burnt/bad food has never been one.I hope this location steps up. Because this was bad.
I wasn't as fond of the fried green tomatoes too much cheese the bread with oil and spice needed some red wine vinegar I had the chicken marsala which was real good my friend had a trio type or plate with chicken parmesan fettuccine Alfredo and I think lasagna good portion

Shrimp scampi was excellent. Service was fast at 5 pm but by 6 pm place was full. Great choice in Athens

Their fried mozzarellas were good but the pasta needed more seasoning.. salt & pepper at least. There was only three other tables and they got one of our orders
Our 1st time at Terranova's. Walking in we were seated at a booth. We weren't offered a high chair, so we just grabbed one. We had a very nice waitress that checked on us often. There was also an accordion musician that was playing while we ate. We enjoyed that. The food was really good. I had the ribeye it was very good. Definitely will be back. Small menu, but that was okay. My husband is Italian and he loved it.

We were very pleased with everything at this wonderful little Italian place in Athens! Our waitress, Lexington, was engaging, professional, and helpful with our questions about the area. The owner does by to check in and introduce himself as well. We will be back!

We stopped for dinner here the other night as we were passing through Athens. They were very accommodating and the food was pretty good. Maybe not a destination restaurant, but pretty good option for the area.

This restaurant was ok. It’s hard to find great authentic Italian restaurants. Too much grease for me. I ordered the trio. Chicken Parmesan was good. The Alfredo too greasy. I wasn’t a fan of their bread either. Too dry. I felt the dipping oil was old too.
