Food was ok. I had the fried green tomatoes and my husband had the fish and chips. We were not impressed enough to go back. The atmosphere is very nice, but the service was a little slow for a slow Saturday brunch time. Prices are high.
Our party of 3 dined at the Salty Cod on Tuesday night. Carolina was our helpful, attentive server who guided us in selecting entrees, drinks, and desserts. We ordered fish &chips, shepherds pie, and picanha steak. Portions were generous and flavors were memorable. For dessert, we enjoyed lemoncello cake, Italian cream cake, salted caramel cheesecake, and gelato. Everything was incredible. We also had the good fortune to meet Shane, one of the owners, who told us the story...
Great fish, amazing sauces, fries are only good with sauce not on their own. Fries could use an upgrade. Great steaks, amazing burger. The British are typically known for their notoriously bland and bad food. Not here, almost every dish is good.
