We first went to Waffle House on 72. 1st issue we weren't greeted when we arrived. They only had 3 staff 2 men and a woman. So we weren't bothered by it. We waited for 3 tables that needed busted. Before we could be seated. The left side of the room wasn't being waited on. The right side was being waited on by a woman. We waited for a table the male waitress finally cleaned one of the tables. We set for 10 minutes waiting patinetly with no acknowledgement, or drinks so we left. Not because they were busy, but because of the environment. We went to Waffle House on 31 we were greeted, waited on, and received our order promptly. The food was great, and all 3 employees cooks and waitress completed their servicees greatly!

My girlfriend and I walked in and were excited to eat until we watched them drop there butter on the floor pick it up and put it in a cambro for use on there line. As we walked out, I let someone know, and she shrugged her shoulders like it wasn't her problem. We will not be back to this location. 🫤

We visited the Waffle House on Highway 31 in Athens last night and had a very uncomfortable experience. I ordered a double waffle with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and pecans. While placing the order, I could clearly see the waitress arguing with the cook because he would not listen to her or let her finish explaining the order.
Because of this, my order was made incorrectly not once, but twice. The cook had a very poor attitude and was openly dismissive toward both waitresses. At that point, I ate what I was given even though it wasn’t what I ordered, because it was obvious the situation was not going to be resolved due to the cook’s behavior.
The tension, lack of communication, and unprofessional attitude made the entire experience unpleasant. This was frustrating and unnecessary, and unfortunately, I will not be returning.
