Great experience, delicious food and exceptional service by James’s the Daphne location!! Very reasonably priced and quick service!! 10/10 recommend you visit and give it a try!!
Not from the area but I would say this is the best pizza I have had in all of Alabama. This spot could hold its own up in a big city. We got the Supreme and CBR pizza, both excellent and cooked perfectly. Great crispy crust all the way through to the middle of the pizza. In the words of Dave Portnoy, almost zero flop. Not quite a NY slice though, but still a great slice.
Wings. So good. Idk if they were fried or baked but they were also perfectly crispy. The sauce I got was their hottest sauce. It was a creeping spice. I had 7 wings and my face was dripping sweat by the 4th wing. But flavor was good and the spice didn't linger long. Someone else ordered the southern gold in nugget form and they enjoyed theirs. Fried pickles were a tad on the salty side.
Beer. We came here because the 'Who Dat' restaurant was closed on a Thursday at 8:10 pm when their Google maps says it was open until 9pm. So glad we came here instead. They had a few light domestics on tap and a couple locals on tap as well.
Service was great. We were helped by a few different waitresses and they all worked well together. Friendly enough and not overly attentive. We also stayed 30 mins past close and they weren't overly eager to push us out the door.
Would return here again if working in the area or visiting the casino.

New Grizzly’s in Daphne, AL! They should advertise, that you are served your salad in a plastic to go container. Black plastic fork in knife wrapped in plastic. And the cheap white flimsy paper plates! Pizza and wings were okay, but I wouldn’t go again. I NEVER want to dine out and eat on paper and plastic!
Made it to the new Daphne AL location today. Service is great, wings amazing and pizza was good. However, I heard and watched videos about the great ranch sauce, but today’s was watery and lacked flavor. Let’s say it’s the learning curve and just needs a little more time. Will be back to try again!
Got a delivery from the new Daphne location, and oh my gosh. The crust is amazing, the sauce, the everything. Will be back 100%
Pizza and service 10/10! Will definitely be back!

It was in the quiet twilight of Atmore, Alabama, that we found ourselves drawn—as if by some old memory buried deep in the marrow of Southern things—to a place they called Grizzly Pizza and Wings. Not a howl nor a growl but a kind of low and abiding murmur, the hum of dough meeting flame, of sauces crafted not in haste but in the hush of knowing hands. We entered not as strangers but as kin, weary from the road and made whole again by the smell of garlic and melted things divine.
The cheese pizza came first, not rushed but ushered to us with reverence, its crust golden and sure, bearing that noble crown of garlic Parmesan sauce that seemed less like a condiment and more like an epiphany, warm and salted with the wisdom of old kitchens and the joy of hungry men. Each bite was a return—back to porches and summers and stories long told between bites and sips.
And the salad—they called it such but it was more. Tender leaves given grace by chicken, grilled and true. And then—then—the Southern Gold sauce. Saints alive, if sauce could sing hymns, this one would. It was sweet and heat in holy union, like molasses baptized in sunlight, like mustard that had learned to forgive. We held it in awe, pausing between forks to let the flavor settle into our very souls.
The service, too, was not merely courteous but kind—quick with refills and slower still with smiles, as if we were not customers but long-lost cousins returned home. And the place—clean, spotless, unmarred by time or carelessness—seemed to breathe in step with its people. A stillness in the corners, a peace that cannot be swept into place but is lived into being.
So let it be said and remembered: Grizzly Pizza and Wings, in the heart of Atmore, served not just food but something more sacred—a supper with spirit, a feast with soul.

My softball team found this little gem one night while searching for a good place to eat. With 21 people, we were seated quickly. The food was amazing and the service was great. Highly recommend. If you are ever in Atmore, check it out! You won't be disappointed.

The wings and pizza are awesome, but the most surprising part is that their house salad knocks Newk's off the salad-throne for me. Grizzly - Please keep drowning your hot garlic parm wings in an unsafe amount of sauce.

I came here with friends to “celebrate” what would have been my daughter’s 21st birthday (she passed away at 17 years old).
The staff was kind and empathetic. They gave my daughter her first drink on the house.
Good was great and service fantastic.
Thank you for making a difficult day a bit better💜
