We were in the area and my wife asked me to find a hole in the wall, which we love to eat at. I found the Anchor Cafe. When we got there andthe parking lot was full, which is a good sign that the food is good. We made it in through the rain and was told to seat ourselves (not an issue with us at all).
Absolutely wonderful! Our server (I forgot her name) was wonderful and very apologetic for the wait. We weren't bothered with it because we weren't...

Nice little place and very clean. Was greeted right when I walked in which is nice. Ordered the sausage/ cheese omelet, hash browns and biscuit. All were great. Omelet was cooked perfect, not overly done or dry. Had a ton of sausage in it. Hashbrowns were great with a little crunch and softness. Biscuit was fresh and had a little crunch from hitting the griddle for a minute. Definitely recommend stopping in here.

Moving on to the steak biscuit. It is the best biscuit in recent memory. Added a little cheese and they grilled the biscuit on a flat top. It was straight fire.
Highly recommend this is your morning breakfast. Stop if you're in town...
