“I was last in Colombia in 1984. Both Cartagena and then in Bogota. The food was fantastic!!
Great experience here at Hector’s Kitchen!
Just ate my carry-out meal, the picadillo beef bowl. Definitely authentic Colombian food!! Lots of cilantro, not as much cumin as in Mexican food. Plantain was sweeter than I remember in Colombia, and sweeter than Puerto Rican and Mexico, also more than in Honduras or Panama. But still good.
Refreshing to eat Colombian and not altered Mexican food!!
I’ve only been to Guantanamo Bay Cuba, not Havana. So I can’t speak to the authenticity of the Cuban cuisine.“
