Yahir's service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making sure our visit was perfect. His recommendations were spot-on, and he carried an energy that made the meal even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks. The birria and asada street tacos? Phenomenal. So much flavor, and packed with authentic Mexican taste, each bite was a delicious reminder of why I love tacos. Pair that with an ice-cold beer, and you have the perfect meal after a long day of travel. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Don Bigotes Mexican Grill is a must-visit. The atmosphere, the food, and especially the service from Yahir make it a standout spot in Attalla. I'll definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in town!

Stopped by for Saturday lunch and was impressed with the general cleanliness and interior decor and atmosphere. The corn tortilla chips and salsa tasted good and I think homemade. Same with the Pico de Gaello, Guacamole and sauce that came with the rice and beans. The only drawback was the Carnitas which appeared to be a left over from the previous day as the meat was hardened and not as tasty as freshly cooked Carnitas should be. The sweet tea with lemon was refreshing and well made. I would suggest anyone visiting ask your waiter/waitress for freshly cooked meals only.

Good food to cost value. Super friendly and very attentive staff. Also really like how they’ve fixed the place up. Nice atmosphere. Been twice now and will be back!

I ordered not one star through DoorDash, the worst food I have ever eaten, the meat was overcooked and the rice with tilapia was not good, everything tasted old.

I wasn't impressed with how long it took to get seated.......
My server was very attentive and I received my drink & food in a timely manner .
The food was good and the Ice Tea was as well!
I might give it another chance, as far as the seating goes.

By far the CLEANEST most FRIENDLY restaurant that gladly served us at 8:30 and waited on my husband and I to eat and finish our drinks. The store had fresh shiny paint on clean walls. Beautiful colors and decorated walls that wasn’t cheesy like most Mexican restaurants! The atmosphere felt like Jefferson’s or something. I asked my husband if it was better than eltap good wise. I think it would be a close call! They were so fast and friendly!!

The salsa looked.like it was out of a can..the food was hot and fresh but just didn't get the flavors I was hoping..the drinks were better than I expected though
