I was traveling through Attalla today. Checked out Google for advice on food places in the area. Hector's Kitchen had amazing reviews and bonus, it's locally owned and operated, SO I had to check it out. Totally on point with the reviews. Thanks, other reviewers!
The food was amazing and the staff was so kind and friendly even though it was close to closing. Everything was delish!

The service in this restaurant was incredible. The people there were very welcoming and warm, along with being very attentive to our needs. The food—but especially the soup—was very good. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing... A diamond in the middle of nowhere. Fabulous food... Great service.
Some if the best Cuban food I have ever had.... I would drive out if the way to eat there again.
