Nice atmosphere although music not appropriate or appealing for an Italian restaurant. Food: pasta (shrimp linguine) had a very good flavor. Pizza was so-so. Wine selection limited, overpriced. Service: good, attentive. Probably not a repeat place for us. Can have as good or better for less in many Italian sites.

Average Italian dinner in a hotel bar. would not go back as it was expensive for what the food was.

I was going to have a very short visit to Auburn and wanted to make the most of it - Ariccia did not disappoint! The food was amazing and our server Sunny could not have more attentive! Highly recommend the Americano breakfast and fruit plate

Great food and convenient location.....free valet parking. Good location for a business meeting.

I thought it was really cool! A very cozy and quiet place by sailing light. Great for dates or hang out with friends.

Food and service were excellent; really impressed with the server being so young but accommodated us like a pro!

It was great, loved our server she was nice very hands on. Food was great and it didn't take long to get to us after we ordered. Over all great night.

My server, Maltiese from Argentina, had the nicest smile, His sunnty disposition made my morning. I come into town once a month for my dog to receive her chemo treatment. I was not in the best of moods. Between his nice smile and the amazing French toast and chai latte, my morning was a lot less depressing.

Listen, there's nothing wrong with hiring or training aspiring culinary art Majors in your restaurant. However, charging the prices you charge for the food and drinks to come out wrong... CONSISTENTLY.. because the staff (students in training) don't have any experience, is ridiculous and wrong. Every single thing we orded came out with some issue of its own. Again, it's admirable that you're employing students. It's a disgrace you're charging $30 a cocktail and $80 a plate for them both to be messed up. The only silver lining is that the students were very polite and professional even though they didn't really know what they were doing.

As an Italian from New York City, it is very hard to find good Italian food in Alabama. My first time eating here it had great food and service, but I won’t be returning here after my second visit. I have a shellfish allergy and despite ordering a sausage pasta dish with no mention of shrimp on the menu, I discovered multiple shrimp SHELLS mixed in with my food. While my reaction wasn’t severe, this level of negligence could easily have sent someone with a more serious allergy straight to the hospital. The manager only comped my meal, but I feel the dinner in its entirety should have been comped. I winded up paying over $70 for my anniversary dinner that was cut short. After that happened my girlfriend and I both lost our appetite to continue with our meal.

Okay experience. Food was variable - pizza, beet carpaccio (yes, beet, not beef), and gelato were very good. The signature dish, Porchetta di Arricia was average at best, and I'm being generous here. If you don't just LOVE fennel, I'd pass. The Pollo Picatta...chicken was dry although Angel hair pasta w/ capers & lemon was delicious. And disappointingly, the Tiramisu had little taste. Service was very respectful, timely, and courteous - just missed any water refills. Given the price, I'd expect a better food experience. Beautiful setting with lots of potential.

We had a very nice dinner for just the two of us. The restaurant readily accommodated my request for gluten-free pasta (penne) with the bolognese sauce without the cream - just marinara and meat. Service was excellent by Larissa and her trainee (sorry - forgot her name but she's doing great!).

I definitely recommend a reservation on the weekends. The service was really good. The food was good. The ambience was nice. The noise level was loud and it was hard to hear each other at the table. They have really good cocktails as well.
