It was just OK
Food menu is very limited
Service great
But didn't fully disclose 3% on credit card charges. I received an older menu and nothing was saying that fee

I would pick another place for the cost verses quality

Dinner with 3 people on a weekday. Food was above average and had some unique dishes available. Cocktails were also above average as was the wine list. Be aware that they may not have more traditional dishes available, but for us, what Acre did have was appealing and creative. I would say that service was the only thing that needed improvement. Servers and manager were very friendly and helpful, but service at the table was lacking especially considering how the restaurant was not busy. Servers need to keep a better eye on water and other drink (water and bottle of wine) refiles and not depend on the client to bring it to their attention. I would absolutely try Acre again and look forward to trying something new.

Fun menu, but some dishes are a bit too complicated. Lighting and seating in the bar is better than the dining room. Reservations are recommended, worth the wait for a good meal in Auburn.

The catfish entrée was elevated with bold Southern flavors, paired with seasonal vegetables that felt fresh and bright. Service was attentive but never rushed, and the modern farmhouse setting gave the evening a warm, relaxed elegance.

Great food, service and atmosphere. A regular place for us on game day weekends and non game day weekends. Sat at the “chefs bar” and it was super fun to watch the crew prepping the charcuterie boards and deserts in front of us while we dined.

We went to Acre this past weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We left regretting our choice a little. First off, our server was nice and it’s no fault of his own but it appears he was manning a bunch of tables. We rarely saw him and when we did we had to stop him to get refills or what we thought were refills which goes to my second point. Don’t order any non-alcoholic drink unless you want to pay for refills. There was nothing that informed us of this information. We got charged over $20 for 3 sweet teas because they charged per refill. Not only was paying that much for sweet tea crazy but on top of it we had empty drinks (no water refills or anything) for close to an hour so we didn’t even get our money worth. On another note, we all got burgers and ordered them medium well. Two came out decent, not medium well but still able to be eaten, while the other two were raw. I’m not talking medium rare, I’m talking raw on the inside like it was just taken out of the fridge. Basically we paid over $100 for a mediocre lunch.

Had a lovely dinner with my daughter. Such a cute quaint restaurant. I love all the different areas to eat including a patio. The ambiance is lovely. We had a reservation so were seated quickly. The menu has a great variety of options and I love that it is farm to table. We chose to have the Mapleleaf Farms duck breast with goat cheese risotto. We also started with a charcuterie board of different cheeses. The duck was perfectly cooked and the flavors with the goat cheese, risotto or amazing. Refinished with a peanut butter pie, which was extremely decadent and filling. It was a lovely night and will definitely come back to dine again.
