My wife and I went here to eat dinner and heard it was a great place. We made a reservation and we attempted to check in two minutes early and the hostess would not seat us, she made us step back and wait outside. Then, she checked in a group of about 8 people who arrived after us and by the time she seated them we were not taken to our seat until about 6 minutes past our reservation. I have no problem waiting but the principal of this irritated me, while she was not very friendly...
The food was decent and there was nothing inherently wrong with it, however it's a bit pretentious, and for the price point, all I can say is that there is better food in town elsewhere. I don't have a problem paying this price for great food. This was simply good, not great, and therin lies my grievance
It’s always such a treat to be able to eat at Acre! It is a whole experience! I love the aesthetic, the history of it, the small business/local pride, and the food is absolute heaven in your mouth. Excellence from start to finish.
