After deciding that Cracker Barrel was no longer the familiar stop I wanted to return to, my kids and I decided to try something new—and I’m so glad we did! Another Broken Egg Café in Opelika turned out to be such a happy little adventure for us.
We were greeted right away and, to our surprise, given complimentary beignets—what a sweet welcome! I ordered the Bourbon pancakes (delicious and full of flavor), and my boys enjoyed waffles and omelets that were cooked just right. The atmosphere felt cheerful and relaxed, and the staff made us feel taken care of without being rushed.
All around, it was a wonderful experience. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Good morning Ms. Teresa Schier, my name is April. I placed myself on the waitlist before arriving in Auburn on Saturday to celebrate breakfast with my family. Although I received a text indicating we’d be seated in 15 minutes, we waited 45 minutes before being told the waitlist was inaccurate, guests could remain seated two hours, and I observed many other customers turned away after also placing themselves on the list. This experience was disappointing and discourages future visits.

Great meal and amazing service from start to finish. BrittneAn was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind and personable. She was extremely attentive, drinks constantly filled, checked on us numerous times despite being totally slammed that morning. She really went above and beyond to make our visit an exceptional one. Will be back!

First off, the food looks exactly like the website photos, and almost too good to eat. They have plenty of choices for everyone, gluten free, vegan, non pork sausage. Eggs everyway you can think and cooked to perfection. The City Grits is a must try! This place didn't disappoint and the portions were perfect. We had cinnamon bun french toast, chicken and waffles, smoked salmon Benedict, chicken sausage, mimosas...etc. All of it tasted great! We are usually quick waffle house for breakfast but I'm glad we found this place. It's a must stop for a nice breakfast or brunch

Service was really bad. people were waiting up to an hour to get their food. They blamed it on a catering order but this is just ridiculous and poor management

Everything about this meal and the service was great! Clean plates and the service didn’t miss a beat.
I’m giving it a 1 star because when I went to sign the check I noticed the amount charged a was slightly higher than the bill presented. Upon taking a look I noticed a small convenience fee had been added. I found service staff and asked about it and they said it was the fee for using a credit card. They also said that charge used to come out of servers tips which is even more messed up. I have zero issues with the server at all, I sure as hell would never get comfortable explaining a credit fee before a guest is supposed to tip me. My issue is with the owner of this establishment and the parent franchise corporation.
There were no signs this restaurant is struggling either. It was a busy Sunday with a wait, every table full, food taking 25 min because sometimes it’s just that busy. But to pass a 3% cc fee on to your customers with no signage or language on the menu is shady, deceptive, and possibly illegal. On top of that the menu prices are very high. This fee is not good business, not good practice, and I will never spend a dollar there again.

My daughter and I went to get breakfast their menu has a ton of options and the food was on point. A little more pricey than I expected but it was really good food. They sat us within 5 minutes but told us it was a 20 minute wait, they were super busy and that is the only reason I gave them 4 stars for service because we did sit there for 30 minutes before we got anything to drink however the waiter was super chill and I can tell he was doing his best.
