Big Mike's Steakhouse - Auburn

The food was well prepared and the ingredients were very high quality. I could really tell how much care and skill was put into every bite of food. The steak was masterfully prepared, the consistency remaining the same throughout the entire cut. My only real complaint would be the lack of booth tables. I feel that including more comfortable sitting options could really enhance a very good experience into an incredible one.

We were given a pager and informed of a 15 to 20 minute wait. 4 couples who came in after us were called and seated. When I inquired, I was told that we did not answer the page. We were sitting less than 10 feet from the entrance desk. The pager never went off. Our name was marked off the list. We will never go back. Cannot recommend this restaurant.

The worst Sirloin I've ever tried to eat. Would have been better off buying beef jerky at the local gas station. Waitress qss very nive but never asked how the food was. No manager ever came by or asked how the food was.

Food was amazing but service could use some work. The atmosphere would be better if the lights were dimmer. All and all I enjoyed the food.

Food has not been the same for the last couple of months. Gulf Shrimp is the best thing on the menu. Bread pudding was good up until today, horrible! I do not know if the people in the kitchen have changed or what.

All most ever time I go my steak is cold or tough after awhile you get tired of sending it back because it takes 30 minutes plus to get back

We wasted over 2-1/2 hours for dinner. It took us almost 2 hours to get our meals AFTER we placed out order. The server came by after an hour to see if we needed anything and said our order ticket was third in line. About 15 minutes later our server came back and said our order had been misplaced. We noticed everyone that came in about the same time we did had eaten and were gone. We eventually got 3 of our 4 meals. The fourth meal, a sandwich, came 10+ minutes later. Three of us had steaks. All were ordered medium rare. The steaks were over cooked and dry, definitely not worth the $45+ plus we paid for each steak. A huge disappointment! Bottom line, save your time and money. There are several excellent restaurants in Auburn, this is not one of them.

The place is delish with decent prices for how much you get (we usually share a meal and come away full). It doesn’t get 5 stars from me because the tables are too close together (only a minor issue) and they wouldn’t sit us until the last person of our party of 3 arrived (2 of us were there and we usually get a table and order drinks and an appetizer while waiting for my husband who is always running behind at work at the hospital).. The place was mostly empty so it was not for lack of tables… so long as your party arrives at the same time, this place is a good choice.
