Great local place. I love their breakfast the most, but lunch is great too.

Update on the update: The owners were retiring so they sold the business to the same guys who own Baumhower's Victory Grill. Looks like the regulars have kept coming because the place is pretty packed for lunch. As far as I can tell from a single plate of barbecue it hasn't changed all that much. Fried potatoes are still golden fried deliciousness and you just can't beat their cornbread. I did notice from their posted hours that they close right after lunch so don't expect any barbecue for dinner. I was worried this great Auburn eatery was facing the same fate as Price's Barbecue House and being bulldozed to build another student housing complex. Thankfully that is not the case.

It's a little loud, but only because everyone is happy and enjoying this place. This is the Town Spot for breakfast, especially. Don't get worried if you see a line to the door or full seats, they handle it very well and fast.Kid-friendliness: They even have coloring sheets and crayons, then will let you hang their pic up.

My family and I have eaten here several times. When we first started, they only served breakfast. When we dined there approximately two weeks ago, Byron's has increased their menu to lunch and dinner. Their breakfast meals are homemade and delicious. The biscuits will remind you of when you were at your grandmother's house. They won't disappoint you on the rest of your meal as well. I highly recommend that you go and check it out for yourself.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was with me, and he had chocolate milk, scrambled eggs, and sausage.

Exceptional service, quick delivery of fresh flavorful food. I had the smoked turkey sandwich on white bread with hot bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato & cheese. A little messy for the car so I’ll get it on a bun next time. Definitely look forward to trying more of their menu.

My wife and I have really enjoyed dining at Byron's over the years. And I mean many, many years. It has always been great food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately with the recent change in ownership has come some less than desirable changes in the quality and quantity of the food. A couple of months ago we went to Byron's for breakfast. The grits were too salty to eat. And the restaurant apparently changed the brand of bacon. It was bad! We agreed we would not eat breakfast there again...and haven't. It was a tough decision since it was our Saturday morning routine. Then, last week, we stopped at Byron's about noon to grab a quick bite between appointments. Two pork sandwiches, and they were SMALL, cost right at $13. Wow! Prices have shot up! We won't be back. They say all good things don't last forever. When it comes to Byron's, I'm sorry to say the adage couldn't be more true!

The food was great! You order at the counter and they bring you your food. They have quiet a few side options and the pecan pie was really good. They don't have table service so you can refill your drink anytime you want, which made the atmosphere comfortable.Vegetarian options: Most of the side options and a variety of salad choices
New owners are scumbags and also employ a known child predator.

Byron's has the best cornbread. It's buttery and very moist inside but golden brown on the outside. Wish I had the recipe. Their creamed corn is also delicious, as is their bacon. Ham is a bit salty for my taste. The grits are insane! Wish there were more parking.
