Great morning stopping by Cakeitecture Bakery in historic downtown Opelika! We loved the cozy ambiance, the coffee, and the great big oatmeal cookie — Petite Debra 😄. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the experience felt warm and welcoming. We highly recommend stopping in!

Our organization recently partnered with Cakeitecture Bakery to provide desserts for a large conference, and we could not be more thrilled with the experience! Every item was beautifully prepared, individually wrapped, and crafted to perfection — with the Cheesecake Bars stealing the show.

The team’s artistry and attention to detail shone through in every bite. They thoughtfully accommodated all dietary requests, omitting food allergens as needed and even preparing a stunning gluten-free option that our guests absolutely loved.

Their desserts added the perfect finishing touch to our event, creating a sweet and memorable experience for everyone in attendance. The owner and her team are absolute gems, and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future! ❤️

We hired this bakery to make our wedding cake in September. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

First, the owner forgot about our scheduled cake tasting. After we drove four hours to attend, she quickly threw something together on the spot. On top of that, she accidentally revealed the surprise groom’s cake, ruining the surprise.

The wedding cake itself looked nothing like the design we had chosen which was based on a previous cake they had made and the owner even admitted it didn’t turn out right. To make matters worse, the cake was delivered late on the day of the wedding when the ceremony was happening. The cake was supposed to be delivered around noon not 5:30pm.

Afterward, we contacted the owner to discuss the issues. She initially said we’d receive a refund, but never followed up. When we called again on 10/01/2025, she responded by yelling, cursing at us using the F word MULTIPLE times, and telling us that many of her recent customers were also complaining clearly indicating this isn’t an isolated issue.

We would not recommend this bakery based on our experience to anyone.

My daughter had found a picture of a cake she wanted for her wedding on Pintrest. Carrie and her staff completed the mission perfectly from our first contact to our last.

Carrie was very helpful in helping me to decide on the size and flavors we would need. At the cake sampling the table was set so lovely. The icing, seriously the most delicious I've ever had. the cake itself was moist and perfectly made.

I can say this bakey, the owner and staff made our day extra special and even have their own page in our Mixbook pre- wedding causals photo album. They are, and will always be a part of our wonderful family memories.

I look forward to working with them again, as another one of my daughters got engaged this past weekend!

I have to confess that I only bought from their food truck, but they were super friendly and in anticipation of tailgating I want to put a pin on getting more of these amazing cookies!

Really nice place to get a treat, coffee, and some work done. All the other coffee shops were packed and busy. This place provided a nice quiet atmosphere. Thanks y’all.

I wasn’t going to make a review, but after the most rude encounter my mom had I feel like I need to. I ordered my graduation cake for this past weekend, it was a 2 teared cake and it was absolutely beautiful… until we ate it. It tasted how I would image buttercream and cardboard tasting. I have made and ate butter cream, and I am well aware it’s literally just creamer butter, but it tasted like eating butter from a tube, no flavor or nothing. When we cut into the cake it fell apart it was so dry. Everyone in the room went silent when eating it because it was, and I truly cannot stress this enough, God awful. I normally wouldn’t post a review, but since it was over $300 and it was uneditable I needed to so nobody else would waste money on a cake that you would think would be the best thing you have ever had, that not even my dog would eat.
As for the other items sold here it really is a solid 10/10- her cookies are the best but that’s it. The attitude and cakes needs some work and if you want a good tasting cake, I recommend literally anywhere else. Like reality anywhere else.

Accidentally came right at closing, for that I am sorry. The service I received was awesome given the time crunch and I hope to go back during business hours! Glad they are in Opelika.

Sorry no pictures we ate it all. Delicious cookies the lemon lavender was sublime. And the coffee bar had many flavors and options. Great for kids too, fun atmosphere and the character cake pops are changed seasonally.

Parking: Street parking is available so a brief walk is worth it.

This was a really neat place, downtown. We walked in, and it was very call me feeling fancy couches and cherry. We can sit there and enjoy yourself. And then the whole back half was when they actually baked. It was really neat. I opted for the oatmeal sandwich because I love oatme cookies, and it was phenomenal. Not too sweet, just enough filling to make it perfectly. My wife and daughter tried me in cake. Pops and several different flavors. They really liked it. My wife got a cookie. I can't remember the flavor but it was very, very good. We'll definitely go back here again to. the place was just perfect

What a cute and wonderful little bakery conveniently located in downtown Opelika. The place is very clean, including the bathroom. The bathroom also has the coolest sink I've ever used.

The cookies I had were delicious and I ate them both. The service was great, very friendly and cheerful and it matched the vibe of the place.

The staff was also having a great time working as they sang backstreet boys songs while working.

My visit here was truly a delight.

Kid-friendliness: The owners actually let my daughter come in as part of her Make-A-Wiah trip, and her and our team had a blast! They showed us some of the different cakes they’ve made, engineering and all! We frosted delicious cookies and they were so patient and wonderful! I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to post! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a cool cake built or just some delicious noshes!
