Today I purchased the Texas Cheesesteak and fries. The sandwich was delicious, but the fries weren’t hot. This annoys me, because the meal itself was $14.72 ish and no drink. The prices are outrageously ridiculous. I didn’t have time to go back for fresh fries, and what’s the point?! The fry bag barely had fries in it. A total wast of money.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries to go for my Son’s lunch today. We both like the fries as much or more than the sandwiches!!
I asked for crispy (browned) fries when I placed the order and kindly reminded the counter staff again just to make sure then tipped her nicely. Moments after leaving, we realized we had received luke warm and limp, (undercooked) fries that spoke to the staff’s inability to pay attention to details.
Perhaps it had somewhat to do with the very skinny fries available here. Still, the French-fried potatoes were not even browned and barely cooked. When they do this after two prompts, then hand you a bag meal that disappoints, that’s just expensive dishonesty and disheartening.
My gift and special treat to my hard working Son was not respected. A thirty minute lunch break does not permit a second chance.
Update: When I returned to report the problem, the store’s manager overheard me talking with the woman that was taking care of my order, then followed me out the door to apologize and later, gave me a gift card to make things right. He obviously cares. I will come back and try sometime again soon.
Review upgraded significantly. If it’s not right, let them know and they will fix it.

The food was absolutely garbage the service lacking and don't even get me started on the water 🤮 this place is SO FAR AWAY from what it was when I was growing up it makes me want to cry just more proof of the horrible town Auburn has become.

First time visiting based on a recommendation of a local wanted to get a good sandwich, chicken fingers and a French dip. Food came out hot and quick, which was great. Srver took our order accurately nobody really enjoyed their food very much. French dip was described as a little salty And my Reuben pastrami was a little thick and chewy. Staff was very nice. I would try something different next time. Also it was very quiet. I would like to hear some music next time.
Pancakes were rubbery. Worst ever eaten. Companion had omelet which she really enjoyed

Love Chappy’s. This was the first time i’ve ordered breakfast and i’m glad I did. I had the conecuh sausage wrap and it was incredible! The tortilla was one of the best i’ve had and you can’t go wrong with conecuh. Grits were also amazing! The stag was top notch, as well!
