Excellent service and very friendly staff. Food was very good and solid value. Check out the speakeasy bar in the back!
Food is excellent! Recommend the Chicken & Waffles, and Shrimp & Grits from the Brunch menu. The Chocolate croissant was amazing as well.
We went for Sunday brunch. I would not recommend at all. It took close to an hour to get our food and the food was cold and not cooked well at all. The over easy eggs were hard, hashbrowns were mushy and cold, meat was overcooked and cold, and the grits were hard, clumpy and cold. Very disappointing.
Kenny is amazing. I have celiac disease. He was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. The meal was delicious and gluten-free. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Italian Comfort food at its best !! Nothing fancy just great dishes with fresh ingredients
Upon arrival, we were not greeted appropriately. No eye contact from the host. It was obvious that something had them rattled and we had a reservation for a party of four. Once finally we were seated and the server came to get our drink order, she seemed overwhelmed. We had to ask for bread which should have been served first. We placed our drink and appetizer order and when served, we had to ask for plates. Fried goat cheese was really good. Placed our food order and when received , three of us got what we ordered. One in our party was served cold pasta with meatballs. During the course , the bartender was sent out to help. One, my husband, in our party was served the wrong item. Received chicken parmesan but ordered the sandwich. The asst mgr came out to let us know that the order was waiting on the fries. My husband asked for another beverage. At that time there should have been a complimentary beverage. Three of us were almost finished with our dinner by the time the correct entree was brought out. There was no acknowledgement of all the missteps and no offer to make things right.
Went in for Sunday brunch. Only a couple tables full, so was nice and quiet. Our server, Bri, was very friendly and took wonderful care of us. The “secret recipe” waffles were awesome as was the fried chicken. The Raspberry Lemon waffles were delish as well. Would like to return for dinner.
The Italian food here is excellent. We were there the night before Sorority bids were handed out so the place was slammed, but well worth a little bit of waiting. The owner was quite attentive to our plight and waited on us herself. So sweet. This place definitely goes on our regular night out list.

We love Il Forno and are excited to add it to our list of places to visit when we come to Auburn! The food was incredible, drinks were delish and the staff was the kind of Auburn friendly you love to see when you come to town! We can't wait to visit again!
We have dined at Il Forno twice this month. Food was excellent each time. The menu choices are plentiful and varied. Reservations are accepted! The restaurant is small, so I would definitely reserve a table before you visit.
When you make a reservation be sure it's the dining room! We arrived and greeted with ‘you'll be in a strange place' and were escorted to a dungeon of a bar when there were clearly tables in the dining room available. They didn't seem to care when we walked out and sought dinner elsewhere
Both the food and service were outstanding. The Bruschetta was amazing and started our dinner off right. We ordered Chicken Alfredo and Pesto Shrimp pasta and both were outstanding! Being new to the Auburn area, this was our first meal at Il Forno but we will definitely be back. We highly recommend!
The food was excellent !! The service was good, the atmosphere is a very intimate this is not the place for a large crowd but a terrific place for a nice date night! Again the food was amazing I had the steak Marsala it was 5 star quality all day long, my wife had the 5 cheese ravioli it was amazing no complaints at all, and we had the flat bread, beware it is addicting it was so good. We will definitely be coming back!!
