Everything is great about this place. I have been to a lot of Italian Restaurants over the years and by far it is the best. The atmosphere is great , service is always to notch and the food could not possibly be any better. To top it all off the price is exceptional for what you get.

This place is amazing! You can taste the freshness and love in every dish! If you haven’t been definitely come try! We will be making the 2hr drive back for sure

As a chef and owner of several restaurants myself, I can confidently say Fratelli’s in Auburn is an absolute culinary treasure. The food here is beyond amazing—authentic, handmade, and bursting with the kind of passion you only find in true Italian cooking. From the delicate zucchini blossoms to the rich, perfectly balanced carbonara, and the tiramisu that felt like it came straight from Rome—every single dish was flawless.

Nothing about this experience felt store-bought or shortcutted. Everything was crafted with intention, precision, and authenticity. The service was exceptional as well—warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food they were serving.

I live two hours away, and I can say without hesitation that I’ll be making the drive regularly just to enjoy this food again. Auburn is lucky to have such a gem, and Fratelli’s has set the standard for what Italian dining in the South should be.

If you want the real deal—food that takes you straight to Italy without ever leaving Alabama—this is it.

My husband and I stopped in for the 1st time tonight. You seat yourself, but there is full table service. The atmosphere is nice. Cloth napkins are always a nice touch to me and the lighting was low, giving it a classy vibe. We arrived during the dinner rush. They were very busy and it did take a while for a server to get to our table to take our drink order. There was also a bit of a wait to get our drinks and have our order taken. So I was a little skeptical of how much I would like this restaurant. Let me tell you that THE FOOD IS WORTH THE WAIT. I had the veal piccata and my husband had the carbonara. We also had the garlic bread. Absolutely delicious. The owner’s wife Mary was incredibly kind to us and checked on us several times along with our server. The price was very reasonable and I felt it was well aligned with the quality of the meal. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner & we will be back. Thank you Mary and staff for a delicious meal and gracious service. Can’t wait to try the tiramisu!

You can immediately tell that the chefs here are passionate about their craft and dedicated to using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The pasta is made in-house daily, and you can taste the difference with every bite—it’s tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The sauces are rich, balanced, and layered, from the classic marinara to the creamy Alfredo and the hearty, slow-simmered Bolognese.also the big Al’s knots are to devour the delicious garlic butter is just so delicious paired with Parmesan cheese so delicious

One standout dish was the carnivore pizza. The crust had that ideal combination of crispiness and chewiness, topped with fresh mozzarella, basil, and just the right drizzle of olive oil. Every bite was amazing The seafood options were also outstanding perfectly cooked shrimp and tender calamari that tasted like they came straight from the Mediterranean.

Beyond the food, the service here is exceptional. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready to make recommendations. They made us feel welcome and taken care of from start to finish they are beyond friendly and so happy to be around

And let’s not forget dessert just absolutely divine! The tiramisu was light yet indulgent, with the perfect balance of coffee and cocoa. The cannoli were crisp and filled with velvety ricotta cream that was just sweet enough.it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

Everything from the ambiance to the flavors to the hospitality makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a home in Italy. The BEST Italian restaurant i HAVE ever been too!!! My server was super sweet making sure we have refills and asking us if we want dessert to go. We got to meet the chief a true Italian with great skills. The atmosphere was beautiful and truly unique experience! I will coming back soon!!
