Went here for an anniversary dinner. The steak was mediocre at best. The service was fine, no acknowledgement of our anniversary despite ordering a dessert. Except when the server said happy anniversary as he dropped the check. We overheard a different server explaining a complimentary dessert or toast to a different table. Left a bad taste in my mouth and we won’t be back.

This is a beautiful place with good food. I guess we were there on the wrong day. They dumped Bloody Mary's on my son and daughter-in-law. My salad came with a hair in it. I just removed the hair and didn't tell them.

On the recommendation of friends, we met for lunch on a Sunday morning shortly after Hamilton's opened on the corner of Magnolia and South Gay Street. Although the kitchen was just fixin' to get started for the day's service, the restaurant began operating smoothly and efficiently. Our table was served well by the waitstaff, our meals arrived in short order, and the food preparation was good from the start. Although Hamilton's menu offerings are much the same as can be found nearly everywhere in Auburn and beyond, there are several entrees that expand their meals, one of which was particularly memorable - Sweet Chili Noodles. In contrast, the chicken served atop their Sensational Spinach Salad was a bit on the dry side of palatable. Overall, the restaurant provides a dependable meal at an average price point.

SO good!! My husband and I were both very pleased with the food! The crab cakes were outstanding, and we also had the spinach artichoke dip- which was also great!! Our waitress, whose name I failed to get, (blonde hair, medium length), did a wonderful job also!! Would recommend! The only photo I got was of our crème brulee.

Attended on a Sunday for dinner for 3… fast service, great quality food, well seasoned, and delicious drinks. The cheesecake has amazing crust. If I’m ever in the area I would definitely stop here again. Ribeye 10/10!!!

We stopped into this bar and grill several times during our stay and it quickly became a favorite spot. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the snacks were great, and the service was even better. Allison and Boston took such good care of us at the bar—friendly, attentive, and fun to chat with. If I lived in town, I’d probably be here weekly just for the service and vibe alone!
Got a waiter from hell by the name of Cody, that spilled the water so over the table. Prior to that, he said what would you like to drink and said, please don't say water. We were astonished. Brought the wrong salad and offered to get the menu to show me that what he brought was the right one and he released he was incorrect. I went online, sent an email to Spence via contact us and never got a response. It's sad, because the food is really good, but the service is pass poor, for lack of better words.

Bad experience on Sunday with the new cooks. All meats overcooked in 4 dishes. One sandwich with soggy bread at the time of delivery. Everything lacked flavor. The initially delivered water tasted nasty. Everything was consistent with inexperienced chefs. The price is very far from quality. We didn’t finish our meals because of the quality.

I am only giving this review based on the system to get a table at Hamiltons. I was concerned when i looked to book a reservation for Saturday night while in town and realized they don't take reservations-that was a red flag. But the group wanted to show up Sat night and see if we could get a table. When we arrived around 7 you could barely get inside due to all of the people standing around in the small bar area. We were told that you have to stay inside because they only call your name out loud!! We asked can you not text us - there is no room here to stand and wait. No we don't do that. After standing near the back of the bar area and having to constantly move because of staff trying to go and come from the bar -we realized the young girls running the table list were calling out names so softly you couldn't hear them. When we questioned them about how are we supposed to hear our names being called they had no response. We did finally get a table after about 45 minutes. But then you are surrounded by the people waiting on a table- not a relaxing enjoyable meal at all. What i do not understand in this day and age of technology is a restaurant owner treating its customers this way !! Are they watching by remote cameras and enjoying the show ?!! Why not incorporate a texting policy or give out restaurant beepers ? First and last time for us. The waitress even apologized to us. She had come over from the other Hamilton location. She said how difficult it is for the servers to navigate the waiting crowd to serve the customers.

Ohhh my god the burger had so much flavor that my grandma blew up and the seat next to us broke. Our server was really good and served so many tables I also thought he was gonna blow up (I would have). Also this other man wasn’t really doing anything and lowkey left the restaurant but he was SOOO BEAUTIFUL LIKE BE MY MAIN ENTREE (he worked there) but kinda looked like Peter from the Brady bunch. I’m definitely gonna delete this later but pls keep this place open and don’t ban me.
