Let me tell you…da Lawd is in this place! I visited for two days while attending the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention’s Congress of Christian Education. Two days - the food, service, and environment was phenomenal. The owner was wonderful and absolutely demonstrated to be a great soul!
Listen, the chicken, be it fried or smothered hit the spot and today…Grape Kool-Aid took me back! The sides can be a main dish and the peach cobbler caused a small comatose! This is a five star - Michelin restaurant in Auburn, AL…the team might not win but this cafe is undefeated! The next time I’m in town, I’m making it a point to get here!
