The food was decent and the cook was amazing, but we felt extremely rushed!
Our cook just got done making our food and as soon as he left the server who was training said ill get yall some boxes🤯
I've served for 13 years and im still a server and you just don't do that like ever! Had like one bite of my food he brought the check too🥴

Receptionists work very slowly. I am not dining, just a pickup.
When they have food on their desk, they pack it up really slowly.
While they were packing up 1 order, I believe I could pack two.

The food at Mikata was excellent and our cook was funny, engaging, and made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service from our waitress brought the visit down. She was inattentive throughout the meal and became almost rude at the end when she made an error on our bill. She also forgot to put in our to go sushi order, leaving us waiting about 20 minutes after we had already paid. There was no apology for any of the mistakes. Everyone makes errors, but humility and owning them goes a long way in customer service.

I do not recommend this place. I placed an order online for a shrimp bowl and sushi, and waited over an hour. The host had an attitude when I asked for a refund; she said it would take 4-5 days, but it was never processed in the computer, and she moved to the next customer without giving me my receipt. The restaurant has really gone downhill.

We went for a friends birthday last night. 1st we saw a roach crawling and the waitress flicked it on another guess… then she already didn’t want to serve us from the start… We then paid our bill and was told we didn’t pay our bill and the manager didn’t even extend an apology for their mistake… So no I don’t recommend them at all…
Love the guys that work there, especially Eric. Dude is mad funny, makes great sushi, damn sexy boi.
Give him a raise.

Would be told it would take 30 minutes to sit so I ordered to go. Literally sat over a hour waiting for chicken and steak, host had attitude Everyone pulled up to take out got their food no problems. But me I waited over a hour don’t recommend unless your caucasion . You’ll get fast service then. Menu has all dinners come with desert but told I can’t have it cause it only dine in. We’ll specify that on your menu. If I could rate 0 I would Kabuki is better always will be.

09/05/2025 Update: I eat here about 7 times a week.. Luke, Annabelle, and Olivia all my crazy unique order by heart. They’re very personable and I appreciate them!! Truly exceptional customer service! I’m adding a 6th star!! ⭐️
