Best place for breakfast. You can just take your laptop and work there while eating there.
All of my experiences have been good.
Best for variety of drink including coffee and juices. Their baked goods are amazing.
Nasty. My wife was in the lady’s restroom when she realized there was no toilet paper. She went out to asked for toilet paper for a little girl who was in there, using their nasty restroom, an African American employee told her she was gonna have to wait. My wife explained there was a young girl waiting. The employee then proceeded to advise my wife to tell the little girl to use the paper in the restroom used to dry your hands. Yes, that thick nasty brown paper. My wife took a few napkins and handed them to the little girls mom.
My husband got take out for us for dinner. I just tossed my salad in the garbage. Old soggy lettuce and cucumbers. The kitchen staff should be ashamed. Management should be checking the food. You have lost my business in Auburn.
Update: Store manager is amazing. Reached out and went out of her way to make sure this was an insulated incident. We have been back several times and it is true!
Original post: We are big Panera fans! We always order the same value duet meal. It is always the same and always great! Tonight, we ordered 2 value duet meals, but for some reason the app glitched and didn't duplicate the order correctly. Looks like maybe they are trying to remove the French baguette side, we now know that we have to click on the item an additional time to add the baguette. So, we had one bread with two soups. We went to ask about the mix-up and the manager refused to give us a baguette, saying it was a side and we would have to pay for it. Did some app snooping, and the new pics do NOT show the bread, though one came with one meal. We inquired further, and were told we would have to purchase an additional side in order to add it since it wasn't on the original order. Mr Walton was quick to cut off discussion and did not listen to or attempt to hear the concern. We are extremely frequent diners and we will be back, however to feel so at home in your favorite restaurant one minute to not being heard. A mistake was made, possibly on our end, however we order this all the time and it has never happened before. You had a chance to make it right and do so easily.

The food was excellent. Left very happy and full. Didn’t quite understand where or how to get drinks and had to ask for them when I got my food. A lot of tables were not wiped down or no way for you to know if they were or not.

Poor guy running register and mobile orders by himself… 6 people prepping food but still waited a combined hour and fifteen minutes for a pickup order.

So it starts with a person running the cash register that can barely understand or speak English. My order was wrong….TWICE! Then the entire time I’m eating my food I have to listen to the kitchen staff curse and talk super loud and laugh obnoxiously. This was literally the entire time I was trying to eat what the cashier rang up for me because my order never was right. Absolutely pathetic. They need to get this staff under control. Panera better be grateful I can’t post the video I took of all of this on this Google review.

My elderly mother came in to order a bacon spinach soufflé and waited over 20 minutes for it. Her buzzer went off and she went to get her order and they told her they didn’t have any this morning. She asked why someone hadn’t already told her that while she waited for 20 minutes. Guy offered to cook her a 4 cheese soufflé but that she would have to wait another 20 minutes to be cooked. She didn’t have time to wait and asked for her money back. They gave her money back served with an attitude but wouldn’t give her the tip back she had left. So why do you think you deserve a tip for providing absolutely zero service? The manager could have comped her a meal or something. That is beyond crappy service.

We go to Panera Bread all the time at different locations because my kids love it. I've never had issues with any staff, I know everyone's busy, but they hold it down well. Well, at this location, I ordered 3 dishes. When I saw that 2 of the 3 dishes were ready, I asked if I could go ahead and take the two (because my kids were hungry about to lose themselves so I wanted to save time) The gentlemen said in a very stern voice "please wait until I'm done preparing all of the order". Ok... sure... It was a very stern voice, but I thought to myself, ok, whatever, and I waited. Then, as we were eating, my kids were fussing about their side menu. So I asked the gentlemen again- "Hey, I'm sorry, but is there any way I can trade this bag of chips for an apple?" And trust me, I was sorry because my kids couldn't decide they all wanted an apple from the first place. And he looked pissed. No eye contact made. In his stern voice, he told me to make sure I tell the front staff the correct item the next time i order. Like i know what I ordered but that's why I said I was sorry and asked politely. He was just so stern and mean that I was surprised of this kind of service. I felt like a child being scolded at a public restaurant.
We love Panera Bread and will continue to go, but we won't go back to this one.

VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE FROM TAYLOR THE "MANAGER". All she was interested in telling me was what she could not do because I called during her rush hour (regarding an allergy btw), but she was not listening and did not give accurate information. On top of that she was rude and hung up before I could finish what I had to ask. Not the normal panera experience.
This is a good place to meet friends lightly. We met in the morning and sat for about 2 hours.
We didn't have enough hazelnut coffee while we were eating.
But they said they couldn't make it anymore.
There weren't many customers at that time, but this makes me realize that the service is very lacking.
Even if they make coffee and it's left, they think they should make coffee.
Because this is Deli
Deli can't make coffee, do you understand?
