We came here without confirming if they are open. We were driving Panama city to Atlanta and we were expecting to eat some delicious Turkish food but it was closed. We were disappointed when we see the restaurant was closed. I wish there were some information on Google Maps. The starts don't represent my rating for the food just wanted to give a natural rating.
Absolutely great. I have never had a better doner kebab. This place is an undiscovered gem in downtown Auburn.
the staff is so unbelievably sweet ! they are always so helpful and the food is absolutely to die for. i cant believe the place isnt busier people really need to start going here
Reminds me of döner kebab street food I would enjoy in France. Definitely recommend if you want to try something new and exciting!
The beef was a quite fatty so I recommend the chicken, but still very good.
We ordered royal doner plate and adana kebob. Doner was cold and like ready meal not doner and Adana kebob was more like burgers. Not recommended
Wow, we had an amazing Dinner with friends at this restaurant. Everything was cooked fresh after our order. The baklava dessert is made fresh daily. It was the best I have ever tasted! Looking forward to enjoying this restaurant as often as possible.
The meat was ok on the doners, won't fault them there. Will fault them for not answering their phone after I called trying to talk to them. I ordered delivery for two sandwiches and three wing orders. The wings, I wanted a spicy, a mild, a honey bbq. What I got instead were three orders of lemon pepper wings. Also, I don't know if they even have a physical location, because we went to where google maps says their address is and we ended up in the parkind deck for the Hound and Little Italy and were pointed to a spot between Arigato and Tacorita- pro-tip, there is no spot there, at least not around back. Grubhub gave us our money back for the wings, never could reach Royal Doner. We tried a few times to call and tell them how the wings were wrong but whatever.
This place was great. The lady who runs it is very kind and was helpful in deciding what to get. Food was authentic and the baklava was great as well. The place was empty when we went and my 13 guest party was able to order and get all of our food in 20 or 30 minutes. We were very happy and well fed as their portions were not small.
We had a large group of people go, and the service was quick accurate. The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner even treated us all (12) to complimentary baklava. 100% recommend eating there!

Döner is one of the dishes we miss the most from Europe and when we found this place in auburn we were beyond excited. The food was great and the wait time was quick. The owner took all measures to keep the costumers safe during COVID.
Great food! So happy to have a Turkish place in Auburn.
Awesome food with great portion sizes! AU has needed this for a long time!
DELICIOUS and also super healthy! The owners are so friendly- and the food is made fresh daily. I’m just visiting Auburn for a swim meet, but if I lived here I’d eat at Royal Doner as often as possible.
This place is hard to locate on the map, your gps will not take you anywhere near the front door. Just park somewhere, get on foot to N College St and pay close attention to signs. You will find it; if not, just call the number. Despite that, food was fantastic. Lady gave us free tea and baklawa and it was delicious. She makes everything by hand. I will visit again when I am in town. Cheers.
