I visited Shrimp Basket this weekend and was very disappointed. I ordered the Shrimp Basket, Blackened Redfish, and Fried Crab Claws — none of it met restaurant-quality standards. Honestly, I’ve had better seafood at places like Captain D’s and Popeyes. I hate to say it, because people’s jobs are on the line, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this location shuts down by year’s end. The interior is dark and uninviting. While the staff was friendly, the food was just terrible. Believe the reviews and skip this place. Two thumbs down.

Stopped in for lunch today. Had shrimp and grits. My son had the popcorn shrimp basket. Food was excellent and the service was even better. Curt was our Server and did a phenomenal job taking care of us. We will be back!
